Grill pub in Leicester

“I've eaten from here many times and I can't really fault the taste. Their Loaded Fries are flavoursome and the fried chicken is crispy and tender. Their salad box is also quite enjoyable, packed with fresh salads and the grill chicken is spicy with a punch. Kids also love their chicken tenders. Definitely my go to takeaway!”

“Typical burger bar food ... loaded fried brioche buns etc. Good vegan options. Nice gesture of a cake for the birthday boy. A bit pricey if choosing off menu .. two course deals more reasonable.”

“Lunchtime visit with older group. Service was great. Initially we were allocate a table up a few stairs. Mobility issue with one guest was immediately spotted and we were moved to a different table without having to ask. Team were attentive but didn't rush us. Menu offered good choices for everyone. Vegetarian options were a little limited but still plenty of choice. Food was tasty and good size portions.”

“If you're looking for an old school pub with a relaxed homely feel, this is the place. We enjoyed Sunday lunch here after the Remembrance Day parade at Victoria Park, and I can't praise the staff and especially Colleen for hosting us. The food was 5*, and the locals were extremely welcoming. Looking at what this place has to offer from open comedy nights to quizzes in its separate venue, there's something for everyone. Child and dog friendly with an open fire and plenty of seating, I just wish I didn't live in Northampton as this would become my local!!! Until next time, to Colleen and the team, thanks from us all. “We have visited the Rothley branch many times now, this is our favourite of all the Miller and Carter Restaurants that we have been to. The atmosphere is great, the food has always been excellent and the service perfect. As was our latest visit at the weekend. Our waiter was Santino, he has served us on many of our visits and in my opinion he is without doubt the best waiter you could ever have anywhere! His attentiveness and profesionalisim is second to none. Thankyou Santino and to all the team for such a great all round experience time after time!”

“Too notch food. The steak, gammon, pork belly, faggots, and venison sausages (not all on my plate!) were all fantastic, well cooked, well presented and hearty portions sizes. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was pleasant. It felt like somewhere where the chef genuinely cares about the quality of his output. 5 stars, would definitely come back!”

“A lovely local pub, it’s so lovely and modern inside, spacious and clean, good atmosphere. Good food and drink menu with vegetarian and vegan choices, prices are really decent and nice portion size. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables and outside tables with spaces for children. Free parking spaces.”

Although the venue was super busy the bar staff was very quick at serving and extremely welcoming and friendly. This was our first visit to your venue and it won't be the last. “We had a good diner at the place. Service was very good and all staff were very helpful. We had a platter and that is a good choice as it gives taste of most of the starters. For mains We had steaks they were made according to our desire and Mongolian beef and fried rice was very delicious.”

“This evening we ate in the Tapas Yamas restaurant. All food was excellent and our waitress Olivia was lovely. She is a new member of staff but found out everything we asked about if she didn’t know the answer. It is very new and only in their 4th week since opening but I would definitely recommend it and will be returning. The deli looked amazing too and I will be going back for breakfast and coffee before long too.”

“Came for breakfast with my son after seeing some pictures on face book of the food.was not dissapointed, breakfast was proper decent with thick bacon and great quality sausages. All tye food was spot on, food was a little slow to come but they apologised and as they were so busy understandable but defo worth the wait.5* breakfast”

“Myself and my partner came for the Tasting Menu at the weekend, myself choosing the vegan option. I have read mixed reviews so was not sure what I was expecting. But as soon as I tasted the first course, it was delicious and just got better as each course came. All the dishes was amazing and my favourite dish was the Vegetable Garden with almond mousse. My partner loved all the dishes too with him choosing pairing wines and I chose gin... which they have their own gin! My partner does not usually eat vegan food and even he said he would choose to try this option next time. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“I visited this place for a friend's birthday function and it was great. An absolute wonderful Artmosphere. Although I was the DJ, I enjoyed it as much as everyone else...the sound system was just right for the size of it. A great place for private functions in Leicester and stuff are just wonderful.”

“From the moment you step into Istanbul, you’re welcomed with the warmth and charm you’d expect from a traditional Turkish restaurant. The ambiance is inviting, the food is full of flavour, and the service truly stands out. We were lucky to be looked after by Mehmet, who was absolutely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and the experience. He made great recommendations and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The mixed grill was a highlight – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection – and the mezes were fresh and full of flavour. Don’t miss the baklava at the end – it’s the perfect sweet finish, especially with a cup of Turkish tea. All in all, a brilliant evening with delicious food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back – and we’ll be asking for Mehmet again!”
