Wonderful meal. I had crispy pork belly... Best ever! Service and ambience excellent and despite it being busy, the restaurant was away from the main bar and very comfortable. Wish we had a pub and hef like this in our Cheshire village. Well done to all the staff
Too notch food. The steak, gammon, pork belly, faggots, and venison sausages (not all on my plate!) were all fantastic, well cooked, well presented and hearty portions sizes. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was pleasant. It felt like somewhere where the chef genuinely cares about the quality of his output. 5 stars, would definitely come back!
What a fabulous pub hiding away. Visited while at Eye Kettlby Lakes had a lovely drive out to find pub. Dog friendly lovely atmosphere and traditional style interior that matches the beautiful exterior. Very pleasant welcome and then a really hard choice to make with the menu has the choice was fantastic I really struggled to choose and will definitely be back to sample more. Serving staff couldn't be more accommodating and didn't let us down with the food as it was outstanding. Hats off to your well deserved success. Keep up the good work.
We've Recently moved to Ashby Folvis and I have to say, this pub/restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The pub itself has such a cozy atmosphere, especially with the fairy lights twinkling around the beams. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, providing top-notch service. As for the food, we've pretty much tried everything on the menu now, and it's all been of such high quality - beautifully cooked and presented. You can really tell that the chef knows their stuff. In this charming village, this pub/restaurant is a true gem. We would definitely recommend checking out their Curry night and Sunday dinners for a great family outing.
Went for a Saturday family celebration lunch. Friendly, professional and efficient staff who were very accommodating of the little ones. All enjoyed the food - we had starters and mains. No room for dessert. The portions were very generous, if a little too big. Varied menu and a bit different with familiar pub food given an Indian fusion flavour. Only a couple of draft ales, but they drank well. Overall good value and definitely keen to go back and try a few other dishes.

Lovely rural pub! we went for Sunday lunch and it was awesome! lots of tasty food, and at a very reasonable price. Staff where great too, and there was a good atmosphere.
Brilliant setting for a beautifully British pub in the village of Ashby Folville. Lovely pub inside and out and always filled with nice polite people and staff. The pub also holds a motorcycle bike night on the second Tuesday of every month.
Used to come here to the bike nights a long time ago and was always a great place. Recently been here for lunch (twice) and both times the food has been amazing quality, presentation excellent and you won't leave here hungry. Good range of beers too. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Our new fave place to eat and drink.
Friendly staff, lovely home cooked food and good vibe. A relatively limited, but varied menu but really well executed. Definitely recommend
