Since reopening, our delivered curries have been swimming in grease, so much grease that it leaks into the bag. We hoped things would improve but it's no better. The chicken pakora we ordered today was simply disgusting, brown, hard pieces of chicken. They've lost our custom.
Love the mango chicken I had last time. But this time under new management we had onion bajhi starter and mixed kebab starter, prior to that, the pickle tray n poppadoms, omg the red coconut one yummy. For main I had keema rice, Malsyan chicken curry and peshawari naan, my partner had keema naan chips n chicken tikka madras. We'd heard it was open but for takeaway only, so we ordered, then half hour later my mate came in said ooh no their doing dine in now, so re rang changed the order to dine in. Defo come back as the service was amazing. Welcome back GR. Xxxx A couple of months down the line thought yey let's go for a curry. This time very disappointed. Only coke zero or diet coke, a big no no we do normal coke. Had the usual pickle tray n poppadoms the red dry stuff, coconut I think was a no no, were as before it was yummy. The starter I had was a chana puri, omg I couldn't eat it, it was way too salty. Having recently had Indian elsewhere and experienced saltiness I wasn't prepared to wait for my meal fearing that too was salty and I'd waste my money, so we paid up and very frustrated, left. Get your act together guys. We don't like salt.
Generous raj not so generous! The food did not taste fresh. It was poorly presented and extremely oily. When it was delivered the bag was full of oil that had leaked. Will not be ordering from them again the food was disappointing.
Tried this place for the first time tonight and shall be our last! Food came cold and was the wrong order. My partner ate the food reluctantly even though it wasn’t what he asked for as he was just too hungry. Bombay potatoes cold in the middle and had no taste. Keema biryani- dust Particles would have been bigger than the meat. Korma tasted sour. The sauce that came with the biryani looked congealed. Won’t be returning as we don’t have money to waste.
Badly let down. Ordered through just eat. The food did not arrive. Phoned to be told was on way. That was without the person answering the phone even asking name or delivery Address. Food was ordered 7.15 due for delivery 8.20. Got text saying it was on way. The just eat page actually showed the food as delivered. Then they said delivery 10.20 but nothing arrived at all and am.now struggling to get money back because of course money was taken.promptly. Avoid as it seems like take money and run.. Then lie about where food is. Avoid avoid avoid
Fantastic experience. Ordered through just eat so quick and simple delivery and payment. The food came and the portion is a personal size which I didn’t expect but I will order again the quality of the food was exceptional and full of flavour. I know next time to order two curries but it is 100% worth it. Best I’ve had in a long time.
Disappointed with quality and quantity. I dnt like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately had a delivery of 3 starter dishes and I was disappointed, food was barely warm, only sent 3 prawns phoned the restaurant and was told because its only a starter that's all you get. Sorry not worth money.
