   We had a lovely evening for my birthday on Thursday. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed cocktails on the veranda and then had our meal inside. The food was great! The staff were great! Wine was great! Prices I’d say were just right so you were able to try a bit of everything not cheap but not too expensive either. But the food was so good would recommend.

   The roast pork belly & cracking was to die for & melts in the mouth. The serving staff are friendly & attentive & we didnt have to wait long for our order. There is covered outdoor dining with blankets to make the most of your meal experience with a beautiful view of the lake.

   The Stanton Lakes site is by far one of the best sites we have ever stayed at. It is so clean, tidy, personal and friendly. The views are amazing and surroundings beautiful. It is an adult only site which helped to keep the site quiet and stress free. We took our dogs and they were well catered for with walks from the site and around the lake, plenty of dig waste bins too. We will definitely visit again.

   We have just had the most amazing time here. We stayed on the site,which had fantastic views, very well looked after clean and tidy toilet block and very peaceful. The bar and bistro was a bonus,the service by the staff was second to none so friendly,happy,and efficient, the food was delicious big thanks to the chief and their team .I can't thank you more , everyone who helped to celebrate the 60th birthday, you were all there for everything we needed,you all made it a time we will not forget. Again thank you so much and more

   Food cooked to a very high standard. I have a large aperite so felt portions a little on the small side. That meant had to order more. Would recommend due to quality of cooking

   Good Sunday lunch with an attractive view over the lake. Staff were all patient, attentive and pleasant. Very empty early on until about 2pm (it often is). Food is decent at a fair price

   Beautiful place. A hidden gem in Leicestershire. We went late afternoon had tea unfortunately no cakes they were sold out. Walked around the lake. My dog loved it and the attention (treats) he got from the staff. I'll definitely return maybe for dinner next time.

   Excellent venue. The food is very nice indeed. Am not too keen on tapas but went with my daughter, who was celebrating a birthday, and I completely changed my mind. Lovely food, beautifully prepared and very tasty. Super facilities for the disabled. Parking and ramp, right there outside the entrance and superb toilets. Sheltered restaurant outside. Lovely staff. I just never knew it was there!!! So, they ought to advertise more widely, because it's absolutely delightful. A real gem.

   Lovely stay. Beautiful scenes. Toilets modern and clean, although smelt very damp as no windows were open. Only downside was the thousands of bugs, but not much to be done about that just a warning if you’re going and hate bugs
