“One of the few takeaways that satisfies my hunger for good food on the go, best falafel in Staines town and surrounding areas by far. The owner/head chef is a really nice guy and makes some really good traditional Lebanese/Syrian food! Well worth a visit, its not your average kebab house. 10/10”

“Went last night for dinner and food was fantastic - very homely and reminded me of Portugal. Highly recommend the bacalhao a bras and the Feijoada. The server was super friendly and attentive (didn't catch his name). Will definitely be going back”

“We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here last night and if I could rate it 10 star I would. We were greeted by Slobodan the Restaurant Manager and shown to our table. He made a point of congratulating us on our anniversary and throughout the evening returned to our table now and then to ensure everything was just right. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and I was treated to a table side view of my cherry pancake dessert being flambé'd (I think thats how it's spelt). It tasted amazing. Slobodan and his team made our evening very special and one we will treasure.”

“Me and my partner had a lovely evening in La Paceña. The prices are very fair for what you get and drinks are well priced too. A pint of Estrella Galicia is £5.50. We had the mixed grill which could easily be shared by three people. We were hosted by Ruby & Jennifer who made our evening even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Genuinely a really lovely experience at Reis Grill & Bar. Music not too loud, very nicely decorated, very lovely and attentive staff, and the food is to die for! The service was also very quick, but it wasn’t so quick that we felt rushed. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The only downside was that the food was so good I didn’t have any room for dessert! Thank you very much for a lovely evening.”

The team and management were very friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere from the start. The food was excellent — full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and served with great attention to detail. “Dinner on thursday - first visit for several years. Bleeding Heart has lost none of the charm and quality which have made it a favourite for so many years. Had cheese souffle, bavette steak and tarte tatin - all were delicious and well executed. Definitely a top place to dine if you want to eat classic dishes in a laid back but classy environment. Will go back again sooner.”

“Amazing food! Portions are big. We were served by Grace. She was lovely and so friendly. The atmosphere was just a vibe. Good food, good music. Now for the constructive criticism. I booked for a friend's birthday and chose a Friday as it was ladies night. We did not receive a welcome drink as specified on their website and social media. The mains came far too quickly as we had literally just started tucking into starters before being overwhelmed with mains which could not fit on the table with the starters. The ladies serving us needs to be more knowledgeable of the menu as everything we asked they couldn't answer. They are all friendly and welcoming but could be more experienced which can be fixed with a little training. Maybe a menu tasting for the stuff so they are prepared and more confident to answer any questions customers may have. All in all, its a great find. Defo coming back! Nice to see a great place and its black owned!!”
