   A semi-regular (they now know my drink order without me asking!), I decided it was time to write a review. A fab restaurant - steaks are amazing (the tomahawk sharing steak is insane), but the chicken liver and mushroom starter was also some of the best food I’ve had. Yes, they are small but make excellent use of the space.

   Lovely food. Wine list pretty reasonable, but it'd be even better if they served red wine in red wine glasses rather than white. Bizarrely quiet on a Saturday night, the place was starting to empty out by 9pm and was very much a family vibe rather than couples and groups - so have plans for going elsewhere if you're planning an evening out. Not quite sure it justified the £75/head we spent, but an enjoyable meal nonetheless.

   We took my boyfriend here for his 30th birthday last night and it was amazing! We had a lovely waitress who attended us brilliantly and the staff had an amazing knowledge on the food and wine. The food was fantastic. We were a table of 10 and every single dish was delicious. We really couldn’t fault it and we will 100% be back.

   I have written a review on this excellent restuarant before and we visited it again last night. The food and service here is truly remarkable. Its an intimate venue with young, friendly and attentive servers. The food really is excellent. They use a Josper Grill so the steaks are amazing. I had a hearty portion of pate to start and then a superb beef wellington. One of the highlights of dining here is the cocktails. They are inexpensive and pack a punch (both flavour andf booze). I have not had a better Cosmopolitan anywhere else on this planet. In short, they get everything right at The Queens Rooms.
