   Me and my wife came here recently and absolutely LOVED it. My wife had the peanut stew as she was craving the flavour and it totally delivered. I tried the egussi and I was very impressed by the flavour and the quality. The plantain was beautiful and the dumplings are a must! Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

   I ordered food from here I got the jollof rice with beef and chicken wings. The chicken wings were nice but the jollof rice was horrible. Please get some chefs in that can actually cook. I’m Never ordering food from here again. Like if you don’t know how to cook jollof rice just say that. Don’t let it disgrace you. The chef you had before the renovation and the one you have now is not the same person. So people were not complaining before as she could cook. This one can not

   Absolutely amazing experience at ALINO! The food was full of authentic African flavours — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with great music that really sets the mood. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish, making us feel right at home. Excellent value for money too! I highly recommend ALINO to anyone looking for delicious African cuisine and a great dining experience in Leicester. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

   What amazing food. Cooked with love and soul. Come here for the delicious food. Service a bit hit and miss, although they dealt with an issue well, and were courteous. Atmosphere a bit odd. As you can see, where we sat had club-like blue neon lighting - but the place was empty. Either way, if you like delicious food, you won't be disappointed. Chicken gizzards were tender and bursting with flavour. Goat curry was so tasty with a nice kick of spice Delicious food cooked with love at reasonable prices. Go and enjoy.

   Delicious food, I went there with my family and we had a really fun evening, from the music, environment, friendliness of the staff, everything was on point, specially the food, I had ero which is my favourite African dish and OMG 10/10. I would say this: is spicy, so if u can’t handle it than it’s not for u, but u should always give it a try since is delicious

   I ordered takeaway on 2/12/22. I was served burnt fried rice and fish that wasn’t fresh (I saw it when brought out from the freezer). Total £13- for 1 I’d like for the place to taste food they’ve kept a while if being professional. It’s hard to support small business if things like this occur .
