Night club in Leicester

“What a turnaround! After the absolute fiasco at the Quorn Hotel (our original anniversary plan – let’s just say we won’t be rushing back), we decided to try this place instead. And wow, what a glow-up for our evening! Yes, there were a couple of little hiccups with the food at first – but the staff fixed everything so quickly and so cheerfully that we almost wished something else would go wrong, just to see them in action again. Customer service here deserves a standing ovation! The music was a tad on the loud side, but we powered through like two seasoned party veterans. The chicken curry was tasty – even if the chicken clearly came from a very proud thigh and not a breast – and those sweetcorn fritters? Honestly, they could have been the star of the night. Crispy, golden little bites of happiness! All in all, this restaurant turned a shaky start into a great anniversary evening. Not bad for Plan B – might even be Plan A next time. In summary a nice but lively place with decent food and drinks well worth a visit, we look forward to going here again.”

“We were a group of 14 who decided to try The Little Club after hearing good recommendations from friends that had dined there. We were not disappointed. We were upstairs next to the bar (Very Handy) and had pre-ordered to assist the chefs beforehand. We ordered large sharing platters of Sizzling Grills as well as the battered aubergine and the fish masala. All the starters were amazing and went down extremely well. We had various main courses all of which were very good and served alongside naan's and rice. Overall the food was fantastic and the service from the staff was exceptional. If anyone needed a new beer they were delivered very quickly and little things such as a spillage was cleaned up instantly. Those little things make a big difference. I would highly recommend The Little Club and especially the starters which were awesome.”

“We came here for some drinks, and as per every Cosy Club I've been to around the country, this place didn't disappoint. It's a lovely characteristic building, with tasteful quirky decor and the staff were as every very helpful and joyful. We didn't sample the food, but will be back. Can't recommend enough.”

“Went to the Feel Good Quiz yesterday, not your usual quiz, so much fun! The host Sunny was amazing, great crowdwork getting everyone involved, loved the first music round, excellent start to get everyone into the quiz and format! Really great atmosphere, everybody was having a blast! A special shout out to the bar staff Scarlett and Bernard who were going around and making sure everyone had a drink on hand or anything else they needed! Will definitely be coming back for this next week!”

“Excellent club was only there for a charity function but what a place to hold it. It was just brilliant staff great bar prices very good. Very family orientated from what I saw going on in the other room. Would recommend the club for any type of function.”

“I’d just like to clear a few things up regarding Kelly Clays review…. In regards to toilets in the club unfortunately toilets do tend to smell of urine, the toilets are monitored and cleaned regularly, I assume you go to the club to socialise ect not spending a lot of your time in the toilets. Also regarding bingo, is there any rules against committee playing a game of bingo? If you are unaware I’m sure the staff there would be happy to give you these details. In respect of the slander you’re accusing the staff of have you spoken to a member of management with your concern? To also remind you it it a working men’s club, not buzz bingo breaks are longer their calling systems are different again if your unhappy with the service I’d suggest you actually speaking to a person instead of leaving a review like you have. I don’t know how often you visit the club clearly not often enough as the club has had a lot of refurbishment done throughout the years. Again I suggest you speak to a member of the committee with your issues. I hope this has cleared a few things up for you.”

Met a very fit young man who lives in Leicestershire and came from Australia not long ago but although he gave me his name on fab I can't find it. A pity. Hope to come back again soon. “I enjoy eating out and look for good quality food at reasonable prices. Bella italia offers nice quality food and under the three course price it is value for money. I love the mushroom starter and it has professional, friendly staff which make a nice relaxing atmosphere. I do enjoy going here and would recommend.”

“Great place for a good night out. They had bingo tonight. The staff and committee are lovely people. We dont live near there but travel to visit. Unfortunately, the club is suffering as are most businesses from lack of custom. They have followed social distancing guidelines so if you are a member, please support your local club or lose it. Due to covid they are not accepting new members.”
