   Pre-booked the table for Saturday night, as a small group of 6 were having our Christmas get together. Our server was Darren, who was just lovely!!! He was attentive and accommodating (one of our party is very chatty and lively) . We also had Will , he brought out our food and drinks, and he was equally great! They both definitely put a smile on your face being kind and friendly, even when the place is busy. The food ordering was quick, and actually waiting for the food to come to the table, didn't feel long at all, one of the quickest times I've experienced anywhere actually. The atmosphere was great, music is great, staff are.... great. I'd definitely recommend this Turtle Bay

   Turtle Bay Leicester was a really enjoyable visit and the kind of place that gets the balance right between a fun atmosphere and genuinely good customer care. From the moment we arrived, the team were welcoming, friendly, and properly attentive without being overbearing. We were greeted quickly, shown to our table with no fuss, and checked on at the right times throughout the meal. Customer service felt like a priority here—staff were upbeat, polite, and quick to help with anything we needed, and it gave the whole visit a relaxed, looked-after feeling. A huge positive for me was how seriously they take allergies. I flagged my allergies early on and they handled it professionally and confidently. The staff listened carefully, didn’t brush it off, and made sure the kitchen were fully aware. I appreciated that they double-checked details rather than guessing, and they explained options clearly so I could order with confidence. That level of care makes a big difference, and it’s something Turtle Bay Leicester did really well. The overall vibe was lively and enjoyable, with a great Caribbean-style feel—good music, a nice buzz, and a warm atmosphere. Service stayed consistent from start to finish, even when things got busier, and it felt like the staff were working as a solid team. All in all, Turtle Bay Leicester delivered a strong experience: friendly, efficient customer service, a fun environment, and excellent allergy awareness that made the meal stress-free. I’d happily return and would recommend it, especially if you need a place that takes dietary requirements seriously.

   When we first got there, the female manager was much less than welcoming, until we got Sienna. Sienna was absolutely amazing, she looked after us in every sense of the word. Our drinks were straight out every time we got new ones, and she's absolutely beautiful. What a great staff member. Petition to make Sienna the new manager! xxxx

   Snoop who served me was absolutely amazing! Very attentive, informative, and friendly. Her energy and positive vibe was so warm and welcoming. Snoop went above and beyond with her exceptional customer service. Food was delicious and very well presented. One of my favourite spots to dine in. Would definitely recommend.

   What a turnaround! After the absolute fiasco at the Quorn Hotel (our original anniversary plan – let’s just say we won’t be rushing back), we decided to try this place instead. And wow, what a glow-up for our evening! Yes, there were a couple of little hiccups with the food at first – but the staff fixed everything so quickly and so cheerfully that we almost wished something else would go wrong, just to see them in action again. Customer service here deserves a standing ovation! The music was a tad on the loud side, but we powered through like two seasoned party veterans. The chicken curry was tasty – even if the chicken clearly came from a very proud thigh and not a breast – and those sweetcorn fritters? Honestly, they could have been the star of the night. Crispy, golden little bites of happiness! All in all, this restaurant turned a shaky start into a great anniversary evening. Not bad for Plan B – might even be Plan A next time. In summary a nice but lively place with decent food and drinks well worth a visit, we look forward to going here again.

   This was a lovely restaurant to dine in at, creating a top impression from the get go with its Caribbean vibe! The staff were welcoming and friendly, allowing me and my friend to use the chargers as well as giving us each the large menu. Beautiful lights are included, the food was delicious and spicy, cocktails were refreshing and cleanliness had been maintained! Advice - book in advance to guarantee a table

   Lovely lunch. The menu is great. Food is tasty. Only issue is food is a but spicy for kids (mine eat spice) an option to alter this would be good. Great drinks, fab service (it was busy but no waiting around) - thanks Asia!

   I've heard great things about this place and I was finally opportuned to visit. The decor is so colourful. It is vibrant and catches the eye. Very soulful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and pleasant all through. The cocktails were amazing. The jerk ribs were overcooked and dry unfortunately. That did take away from the delight of being there. Hence the 4 stars. I'll definitely be back, as I have a few things I still want to try on the menu. Good value for money.

   The service was great, they have a 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour with an interesting variety. The food in my opinion was fine. I will go back for drinks, but probably not the food. We ordered a starter of ribs, a side plate of cheese fries, jerk chicken and buttermilk fried chicken. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best plate out of them. We also hAd 4 cocktails with a bill of 51 pounds which was great.
