There’s so much choice and something to keep everyone entertained, I think the pricing for exclusive booking is more than reasonable and being able to take your own buffet is a nice touch. I’m sure this will be an ongoing party spot for us and our guests for years to come.”

“Love it here very friendly and accommodating. Jacko and Jacci are very welcoming to one and all. Was back in the first evening they opened after the first lockdown, would be in more often if they go to summer opening hours this year, am only round the corner now. Jacci did a naughty when I turned 42, she told everyone it was my 40th and laid on a lovely buffet spread. Got three 40th cards that night and it made up for a 40th in lockdown then my 41st too cos we were at the dying days of the final lockdown so no bookies for the grand national”

“Great night with great entertainment, beer and spirits are cheap and served with a smile. Bingo, tote, play your cards right and a Sunday night quiz something for all. It’s a cheap night with friends you haven’t met yet, come and give them a visit and ask about membership.”

“Armstrong's is a great venue for any occasion. We rented out Armstrong's for a kids birthday party and Sally-Anne who runs the place couldn't have done more for us, very accomodating and attentive to our needs. Our kids entertainment didn't turn up but Sally-Anne really pulled it out of the bag and we cannot thank her enough. The venue itself is geared up to cater for the masses, and even if (like us) you are there for a kids party there was a full bar service on offer serving alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and snacks, tea and coffee. The facilities are very well maintained and a credit to the owners.”

“Pleasant members club with four well maintained snooker tables. Nice bar with reasonably priced beers, darts, pool and dominoes available on one easy access ground floor level. Very pleasant welcoming staff. Worth consideration joining and good to see a club that clearly listens to its core membership by getting the fundamentals of club management right.”

“All facilities are first class. There are several sports on the site. It is a well thought out recreation club. Good choice of beer. To top it all watching Yorkshire and Warwickshire u10's cricket teams celebrating when England won the world cup was momentous.”

“Had a fantastic night last night at the ozone club the owners were lovely, we have been camping in Withernsea for a week and couldnt find anywhere that was kid friendly not even the club on the caravan site down road the duck and rabbit were family friendly (had to sit in backroom with kids) and dogs weren't welcome. The ozone club welcomed us all, my daughter plucked up the courage to do karaoke for first time. (Proud dad moment) we all just wished we'd found the place earlier as it's a great family venue with regular acts and games nights and unfortunately were at the end of holiday but we will certainly be returning next year. Hopefully we get a bingo night in this time.”

“The Willows club is an excellent social club on holderness road. There is a very large main concert room with bar and a good sized stage for the live acts that appear regularly. There are also two other rooms, a small room for private functions and a larger room next door. There is a good choice of reasonably priced beer, lager cider, ect. Behind the club it has its own private fishing lake. There is a very large grassed area next to the club excellent for holding events. Today was a classic American car and motorcycle show. The bar was open food was available and tea and coffee. There is also a large customer car park. The event was very well organised the Willows is a very good Club.”

“Great friendly people, but i feel there is discrimination against disabled people, certain tables should be for the disabled that have walking difficulty and wheelchair bound people, I know its first come first served with seating, but a little understanding for their disabled customers with walking problems should be looked at.”

“Great place with lovely atmosphere and staff. However, you need a membership to go for free which is £12 a year and £15 for new members or else you have to pay £2 every time you go in however, it is very worth it. There is a pool table for 50p a game, a snooker room with 4 tables and the snooker is a pound for 40 minutes. The drinks are always cheap and there is also 2 tvs, music and a darts board with a point calculator. Would definitely recommend getting the membership if you live in Hornsea or surrounding areas.”

“We were here for my husband s Aunties wake. And boy did they do her proud. Plenty of seating. Clean and tidy. Staff lovely and friendly. The food was excellent. You want everything to run smoothly and it certainly did. Toilets clean and accessible.”
