    Really good venue for relaxed wedding reception. Nice big private room with plenty of seating and tables, plenty of space for the kids to run around. Well stocked and reasonably priced bar in the room with smiley polite and proficient staff. Parking a little challenging for daytime functions as bays /on street parking restrictions apply but would be fine for evenings . Would recommend tho , very accommodating place.

    Parking fines, rude staff. I've been a Grosvenor customer for many years, though I don't go as often as I used to due to moving away. I made a visit in October and received a car parking fine a couple of weeks later. I rang the Grosvenor and asked if there was anything that could be done, but first I was met with snarky, passive-aggressive comments about how I should've seen the "obvious signs", before saying there's nothing they can do and I should send the fine company a bank statement. I appreciate I didn't follow the procedure but there was no need for snarky rudeness. There are signs in the car park - but ANPR was brought in after my last visit, and the sign headline is "CUSTOMER CAR PARK" only the smaller text underneath mentions registration. Most people don't go around meticulously reading every sign past the main headline at a place you're already familiar with. I guess I'd assumed it was the standard "customers only" sign like in the past. Also, your website makes zero mention of any requirement for registration. Most places have a more obvious sign at the bar or even ask you directly when you come in. There was no need for it. I'll also point out the fact you've hired a company (Civil Enforcement Ltd) with a very negative reputation, with a long history of unethical behavior and scare tactics. You're also clearly powerless to intervene for your patrons. Maybe you should have a review of your processes before being snarky to paying customers. I'll be avoiding you like the plague going forward.
