   can here with a booking of 12, service was excellent, props to the waiter, samir. orders were handled with care and when the food came out my whole family were blow away with the portions of the mix grills and the authenticity of the curries. will definitely bring my friends and family here again for special occasions, loved the new vegan sizzler that came with the new menu’s and the mrs loved their cocktails especially the purple parish cocktail

   We booked in advance to dine at the Taj as we heard it does get busy and glad we did. The atmosphere was great along with nice food and great service from staff. We ordered a variety of dishes veg and non-veg which was enjoyed by all. We asked the chef to make some dishes extra spicey which the chef did nicely. Deffo worth a visit if your in the area.

   Hidden Gem of Indian restaurants in Leicester, the staff are friendly the place is clean. The food was very tasty I must say and good portion size. Would highly recommend, booking advisable as it does get busy. If you not been you must try.

   I have had a take away from here before and it was good so decided to come here on a Friday night, rang up and booked table with no wait so good and lady on phone was nice. The place itself inside is clean nice with fire plave on the TVs, the only thing I would change is that it was a tad too bright inside for a late night meal. Food itself was absolutely amazing and came out reasonable quick and the service was good. This place is now my favourite place for Indian food and we were able to doggy bag left overs which I had the following day A++ on the food.

   A real shame I feel the need to write this review. A while since I previously visited. Last time the food was great. Visit last night ended us leaving. We waited 45 mins, then a table who came in 10 mins after us had a load of starters delivered. The biggest issue was how the owner / manager responded. No acknowledgement that they should’ve delivered our food. We ended up leaving after nearly an hour there and no food. I hope the management take this feedback with the good intentions it was made. When customers express unhappiness at waiting and point out a fact. We had arrived and ordered before the table that was served before us. You acknowledge the mistake and simply apologise, don’t make the situation worse.

   Absolute smasher of a place, when people say let's go for a curry it's usually Melton road sides or few desi pubs. All I say I'd venture out to this place, you will not be disappointed, great food, limited beers on tap but not too bad given the size of the place. Fantastic service. One of the best set out menu's I've seen in the UK not just Leicester. Looking forward to coming back soon.
