   Table was booked for my nephews 16th birthday(14 of us). Got there and told it had been booked for the kids magic show with no table set up even though when my sister booked a month ago she stated main menu food wanted for a 16th birthday,got put in the main bar after dragging tables and chairs around with 2 of the kids being stuck with their backs to the bar(very close to the bar). We were then told there was no steak and no gammon which was fine, went to order a sharing platter to be told no sausage meat to make half the stuff needed for the platter so fine,I'll not eat but just feed the kids. Final straw was when 10 minutes after ordering the food they come and tell us there's no corn on a cob for the kids meal so got a refund and left to go to the local chippy(thanks Shoreham fisheries). I get that it's nearly Xmas and you're busy but you've known for a year that it's gonna Xmas,be prepared. Do better

   Absolutely beautiful food. Just returned from having a Sunday roast there. I had the beef and my wife had turkey. Both perfectly cooked. Brother had a burger which was excellent and sister-in-law had the chicken and ham hock pie. All handmade there and perfect. Can't recommend highly enough. Service is great, staff are friendly and we sat in the conservatory with great views over the lake.

   Not having been to the Swiss for ages was pleasantly surprised… the menu was amazing. So much to choose from and everything looked so delicious. I opted for the sausage and mash. I was amazed when I saw the sausages were my favourite fat ones. Nowhere do you get these other than here. Served with a load of delicious mash. Peas and surprised with a Yorkshire Pud filled with fried onions and dried onion topper. The sausages were amazing. As was everything. My partner chose the Hunters Chicken. Who said was very tasty and both such good value for money. We were made to feel so welcome by the staff and the manager who were very attentive. Can’t wait to go back to the Swiss for sure..

   I hadn't been to the Swiss Cottage in years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a large car park which was a great bonus for me. The food was very good, hot and cooked to order. There were a lot of choices and many special offers. They also had so many gluten free options. My friend said her meal was good and tasty. The staff were very attentive and there was a lovely warm atmosphere about the place. I will definitely be returning especially for the Fizz Fridays offers

   My mixed grill arrived and really looked good. The chicken was just Luke warm. The waiter said, our chef will warm it up for you I said, no he won't he should no better. No sweet course as they didn't have it Because it's a new menu, we were told. That was Saturday and now it's Tuesday evening and I haven't eaten since. Still in bed, had paramedics here twice and even our local GP. It's all sounding like food poisoning All the tests not back yet. But here is a pic of what it looked like What a wonderful birthday treat never to be forgotten..

   Stumbled across this pub whilst travelling and in need of dinner. It’s part of a chain with a wide ranging menu. The food was served promptly, it was nicely presented, hot and tasted good - what more could you ask for. The staff were pleasant and chatty. Would definitely recommend

   Nice venue and staff. Our food came out hot and quickly. Only lose one star because our drinks were a bit flat. Had a Strongbow Dark Fruit and a Coke Zero.

   Had a lovely meal today - the sharing nachos were really very good - proper nachos and a good size portion for sharing. We had Korean chicken burger - yummy sticky chicken full of flavour and chicken thighs with pineapple with a zingy chilli and lime sauce. The pace of service was good, gave us time to chat and catch up rather than rushing us through our meal and out. Staff smiled, worked hard and looked after a lot of people today - very well done Dani and team.
