   We had a lovely meal at the Longshore this afternoon. We have been to this pub a few times and massive improvements have been made to the experience at the Longshore. The service was spot on and the food came out really quickly. Counter service is offered or there is an online order and pay system as well that food and drinks can be ordered on. If drinks are ordered on the online order and pay system there is a 10% discount on the drinks. The ordering system is brilliant because it allows for greater flexibility which I really like. The decor is very nice too and this Pub has a really nice atmosphere. The Christmas decorations are really nice and the pub is really inviting. There are loads of Christmas events at the Longshore. The gluten free menu is fantastic as well and there are an extensive amount of gluten free options on the gluten free menu. The lemonade and lime cordial (in the same drink) was tasty and really refreshing. For my starter I went for the sharer portion of nachos which was a delicious dish. I liked the texture of the nachos and the dips were tasty. For my main I went for the gluten free cheeseburger with no lettuce. The burger was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked well and had a delicious flavour. The skin on fries were delicious too. The portion sizes of the food were brilliant. It would be lovely to have ice cream as an option for dessert on the gluten free menu. There is also a car park with electric vehicle charging facilities available. I would definitely recommend the Longshore! This pub is consistently improving the customer experience.

   We visited on 29/11/25 for my daughter’s 21st birthday, there were 19 of us and the service was excellent. The venue was clean, the staff were very kind and accommodating, the service was just fantastic and very quick considering how many of us were there. The portions are very generous and the price is very reasonable. We all had a very lovely evening. Thank you Longshore!

   Always a great place to spend time and dine with friends/family. Very spacious seating areas, always friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of parking. The food is excellent and we will be returning again. As of writing this review the inaugural Oktoberfest menu has started and I couldn't be happier !

   I recently visited The Longshore in Shoreham, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, nothing about the meal or the service made me want to return. The food was poorly prepared and lacked flavor. Dishes that should have been simple to execute arrived either overcooked or underseasoned, and presentation was sloppy. For the prices charged, I expected at least some care in the kitchen, but it felt rushed and careless. The service was equally frustrating. Staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, making it difficult to even flag someone down for basics like water refills or condiments. There was no warmth or hospitality, which only added to the sense that customers weren’t valued. The atmosphere itself might have been a redeeming factor, but even that felt flat—dimly lit and uninspired, with no energy to make up for the other shortcomings. In the end, the combination of bad food and bad service made this a place I could never recommend. There are plenty of better dining options in Shoreham, and I won’t be returning to The Longshore.

   What a lovely welcome we received. After a too long road journey, we ended up here by accident, then we met Ernie (behind the bar). As soon as we walked in, he was smiling and welcoming. We had a lovely few hours in his company. The pub is clean and bright, unfortunately we were too late for food so I can't comment. If you fancy a beer though.... The glasses and pipes are clean, the beer is fresh and Ernie the barman is lovely

   Waiter didnt listen to our order (it was incorrect when the food came out). We had to send something back and remind staff we were waiting on that meal and another item.We are currently waiting on puddings that are taking an hour to come out! If you order vegan you need to make sure they have served you vegan, ask if you are unsure. Drinks and food have been good, its just been the service.

   Out the blue meal and we choose here at longshore ,great service ,nice staff efficient quick and polite ,the food was excellent the fish was that big I couldn't eat a pudding ..it was that good..Great big potions .lovely atmosphere..Will come back .xxThanks TDMEDIUM .XX

   The service is excellent. Super friendly. And the food is decent value. It’s as it describes on the menu. Not pushing any boundaries. As you would expect. Lots of daily specials! Great offers. I would go back.

   This was the first time I had been there, I attended the American car and custom meet on a Sunday morning, all the staff were very friendly and I had a breakfast and coffee, the pub was spotlessly clean and I will definitely be going back.
