   Plug sockets and stunning lasagne! Just what I needed after a day’s walking before heading to the campsite. Being a couple mins out from the centre the pub wasn’t as busy as some others so I did not feel rushed. It was perfect.

   Friendly and very efficient service with good quality food and drink. We were able to get a table in the beautifully set garden area. The only downside was that the menu was rather limited, but perhaps they have wisely chosen to offer what they can do well.

   What a fantastic little country pub. Food is absolutely delicious (particularly the roast tatties...!) Staff are very welcoming and friendly, Chris the landlord is a charmer such a nice chap, makes the pub feel like a home. Out of all the pubs in Alfriston, The Six Bells is by far the best and least pretentious. Proper English pub overlooking the church serving great food, beers, wines and spirits. Will definitely be back...!

   Very reasonably priced pub with possibly the most charming beer garden I've ever seen. The staff made us feel right at home and the dog was a nice addition, very friendly and added massively to the charm. Perhaps some candles and fewer lights could make it a bit cosier.

   Lovely pub recently refurbished but still old charm. Lovely outside garden area overlooking village green and church. Friendly owner and Daisy. Can’t wait to go back and try the food when it starts. Dog friendly too!

   Amazing back garden over looking the church and village green. There is limited parking at the back and you can enter from there as well as the high street. We had cream teas. The scones were very nice. The only downside was the scones didn't come out for long time and by then we had finished the tea.
