“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aged Steak House – Steak Done Right Outstanding experience from start to finish. The Chateaubriand steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked — melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The asparagus, mac & cheese, onion rings, and fries were all top-notch, each dish full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere warm and classy. 5/5 – Exceptional food and flawless execution. Highly recommend!”

“What a pleasant surprised. Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasn't the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasn't too crisp that we couldn't bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.”

“This is a great local venue for great music, with a good selection of local beers on offer. The events diary keeps you coming back. The food is great and compared to other pubs in Hove….Its great value. The team there are lovely people, very welcoming. Any day of the week, it well worth stopping by to check it out.”

“Amazing place! We arrived late on a random Wednesday evening with our kids and the staff were so friendly, gave us extras and just generally were awesome lovely people. We are eating our fish & chips on the beach right now as I type this, and the whole family agree it is delicious! Highly recommend : )”

“I think this must be fairly new as I have no recollection of this pub / restaurant. Thomas Paine has strong local connections, unlike Casta and Madge. He helped inspire the American revolutionary war and almost lost his head in the French one. Silly so and so. I had another Harvey's Sussex best bitter. One of three real ales on my visit. Very good. Up steep stairs finds a roof terrace. Must be lovely on a warm sunny day / evening. Free wifi.”

“A lovely pub with friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice and cosy seating areas didn't feel overlooked. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit.”

“Food was excellent and well prepared. Staff were great and very accommodating. This is a traditional pub which is reflected in the menu. There is a good selection of drinks available. Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.”

“One of the best place in Worthing and surrounding! Delicious food, very good portions and not as pricey as you would think, buying main two sides comes with it! My experience over the years just getting better and better! Owner always around very professional and friendly staff! Location just couple minutes walking distance from the Worthing sea side! Been going there from the day they open and will continue as they have best chicken wings and T-bone stake!”

“The quality of the food and service at The Corner House pub was absolutely exceptional. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a Sunday roast — look no further! You’ll be amazed at the portion sizes, especially the Yorkshire puddings, which were out of this world. Every single vegetable was cooked to perfection, with real care and quality shining through. We went as a small family of four and were completely blown away by just how good the food was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too, making it the ideal spot for a family meal. If you want a Sunday roast done properly, make sure you get in there early — I can only imagine tables get booked out well in advance. Thanks for a wonderful experience. — Martin and family”

“You can't come to Brighton without visiting this iconic hotel. We sat in the bar and had an afternoon snack. BLT | Toasted bread, streaky bacon. gem luttuce. homemade £14. Smoked salmon & tiger prawn. iceburg lettuce, avocado. lemon. £16. And two pots of tea. Thought the prices were quite reasonable for such an impressive hotel. The service was good and we especially like it here as you can sit with your dogs.”

“My partner and I took a chance and entered this venue which was surprisingly quiet. The menu had brunch items which were appealing. We chose our table, the decor was really cool, servers were exceptionally friendly and when the food came out, it was excellent. Reasonably priced and great quality. Served with a smile. “OMG !! Why can’t I leave 6 stars ??? Anna, Lauren and the team absolutely Smashed Christmas out of the park…..AGAIN !!! The children getting to see the reindeer and Santa Claus was so special. Memories that will last a lifetime were made and we as a family can’t Thankyou enough for how special it has made Christmas. Please please do this again next year. We are showing friends and family who would all want to come. Thankyou x”

“The Gladdy is back !!! After the long awaited dismissal of the last manager, ( what a nobber !!) (who definitely didn't understand how to run this bastion of old school brighton pubs ) it is now under new management and what a breath of fresh air !! this place is banging once more. Great staff, regular gigs, music and real punters !! And now open past 9:00pm !! One of the best pubs in Brighton !! Always great gigs. See ya there !!! P.s. Don't vote tory, Not my king x”

“Reserved space here for a birthday celebration and had a fantastic afternoon. A perfect Brighton pub, relaxed vibes, bright spaces, great music, nice Thai food menu, a really good beer selection including gluten free and alcohol free options on tap. Friendly and chilled staff add to the easy going but thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. It felt a really inclusive and friendly pub and was clearly popular with Brighton and Hove locals. Good for kids as well during the day.”

“Was a bit dubious when we first arrived as not a great deal of kerb appeal. Once inside, this changed dramatically and was greatly surprised how fab it was! Staff was friendly and the food was well portioned and tasty. The milkshakes are great!”

“Always a pleasure visiting Pablos and they’re always the first choice for dining out for special occasions. The food is always amazing with very generous portions so you always feel like you’re getting your moneys worth and to top it off the customer service is always top notch with attentive and friendly waiters/waitresses. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the toilets/tables are always clean and tidy.”

“Bit of a surprise as we came here a year or so ago and walked out due to the rude staff. Came back, different staff and...was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, atmosphere fun, and reasonably priced drinks. Came back a couple of days later! New fave bar in town!”

“Had a great meal here last night, food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Chloe was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed. The garden was large with plenty of seating and the pub welcomes dogs.”

“A crowd of us visited for Sunday lunch and had a great time. Most of us had the Sunday lunch which was enjoyed by us all - tasty and plentiful. The other food ordered was just as good. The girl who served (forget her name unfortunately) us was lovely - friendly and helpful. Only downside was lack of real ales choices. 4 pumps and only 2 in use - and one serving the ubiquitous bland Doom Bar. That said we all had a great time and would definitely return”

“Cannot thank the staff and chefs enough! Went here to celebrate my 32nd birthday with my mum and dad, booked a table in the morning, arrived at 6:45 ready for our 7pm booking, was shown to a table straight away, got seated and served in a timely manner, our server was lovely! Very kind and attentive, we all had a Hot, Fresh and delicious meal mum and dad both had steak, cooked perfectly to their request, I had the chefs special hunters chicken and wow! It was INCREDIBLE, we all were absolutely stuffed! And none of us managed to clear our plate! We don't do this very often but we absolutely loved it and have said we will be doing it again soon! Great value for money! And everything was very clean and well laid out! At no point did we feel rushed or a pain to staff and we are all really looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for a great evening!!”
