Chose the Rodmill as it seemed a nice place judging by the reviews. It was my daughters birthday and as she is newly disabled it seemed good for access. Pulling up in the carpark the two disabled bays were cordoned off. My son in law had to drop us off and find somewhere to park. Inside we were sat at a big table right opposite chairs with tape around them as the ceiling was falling in. But it wasnt too busy which we thought would be good. we had to give name and date of birth to download the WiFi which took a while. We ordered our food and drink, which was really nice and we were asked if everything was ok. We then waited 25mins for our desserts, finally caught the eye of the waitress who said it was only her serving as the manager had 'gone somewhere'. My son in law was served apple pie and custard on a big plate, very difficult to scrape custard up! The barman kept making a load of noise banging about looking busy although the pub was nearly empty. We were there from 12.50 - 2.40 nearly 2 hours for 3 meals 3 desserts and 3 puddings. no goodbye or anything when we left. Dont think we will go back

Always great service and a good variety of meals and drinks. Food always comes out quickly and hot. Everything is reasonable priced, especially with a blue light card. Tried the new festive fondue sharer today with blonde Gemma serving. Would recommend.

This is normally one of the best places to eat with the staff being extremely nice and knows well what theyβre doing, as for the food 3/4 times we have been here it has been amazing with no complaints however today I ordered the large mixed grill and it was a disappointment to say the least not the fault of the chef however the cut of steak that they buy is very low quality and Iβd say to stray from ordering steak. The gammon was also pretty poor it was very crispy and somewhat like bacon so yeah slightly disappointed today but normally perfect place to eat.

Omg!! This is by far the best food ever. The staff are so unbelievably fantastic and were so good catering for my Daughters peanut allergy which is why I came back and will be coming back again. I highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed. So glad I found this fantastic place!!!

Terrible service. Sub standard food. Such a shame as used to enjoy it there. The food was cheap and terrible. Rude waitress. We asked for seasoned fries and were given normal ones, when the waitress came over to do the usual βis everything ok?β I said i think we asked for seasoned fries, she replied rather rudely and abrupt βthey are seasonedβ as I said ok she walked off! As you can see from the picture they clearly were not seasoned! The chicken was plain and tasted cheap. Staff seemed uninterested and were having private conversations at full voice, felt like a wasted night and a waste of money. Used to come here often over the years and havenβt been back in years and itβs really gone down hill. Would avoid at all costs

This was our 4th visit, as always an exceptional standard of customer service, friendly, bubbly, visible, approachable staff and GM. Great food, decent product range. Catered for all our needs, what more could I ask for. We visited 3 times and sadly they had no biscoff cheesecake but this time they did, it was sensational. Food was good too, as always compliments to the chef. Thank you.
