“Super authentic little coffee bar on the seafront. You will probably q a little bit but it's worth the wait.”
“LOVE this coffee!!! Stumbled upon it being sold at my local cafe and now have a subscription to get these freshly roasted beans delivered home! Was even asked the other day by a friend what beans I used and proudly mentioned Skylark!”
“I've obviously drank a lot of coffee in my time, but the cappuccino I had from here this morning, was probably one of the best coffees I've ever had in my entire life. It's actually made me have a bit of an existential crisis about my previous coffee drinking habits. If you keep driving past this place, please do actually stop and go in! I actually have shameful amounts of regret that I haven't been able to stop here previously. So thank you very much for the coffee. It's not even an exaggeration, it was very very good! ❤️”
“The coffees the baristas make at Kingsway are bang on every time. It’s obvious they take the time and care each time they pour to get the right consistency and temperature of the milk (which is rare!!). There is a lot of competition around Hove for good coffee, but Kingway is coming out on top each time for me. I’ve got a Gail’s at the other end of my road, and let’s just say I walk that extra bit further for one of these banging oat flat whites each time… Very pleased to have you in hove guys!”
“Blink and you've missed it. The cosiest spot for coffee. Small but welcoming. Had an amazing aeropress and left with a bag of beans. I would definitely come back every time I'm in Brighton.”
“First time here today. Had the big English breakfast. It was faultless. Excellent quality, good portions, not oily, hot toast and hot plates. Added tea ( proper pot) and coffee and black pudding. Service was perfect, helpful, friendly. Staff super friendly and kind to everyone. The menu choice is great, from breakfasts to cooked lunches, sandwiches, baguettes, jacket Spuds, etc. Could not fault this place, people or food.”
“I’ve been going to this coffee shop for a while now. Their food is amazing, the ambience is inviting and their coffee is… what can I say, you gotta try it. But the star of the show are these Tiramisu cakes (or bites as I would like to call them). Right amount of sweetness & richness, basically perfect. YOU GOTTA TRY EM. ASAP”
“I was passing by and went for a coffee. Lovely little place with great views to the Downs. Doubles up as a post office and paper shop - obviously a great asset to the local community. Friendly service and great coffee.”
“Great coffee & recommendations on beans. Lovely spiced cake & cookies. Really friendly staff who also took the time to chat. Even tho this was our first visit, we felt like locals. And the have a loyaly card scheme is you're planning to go regularly.”
“Absolutely brilliant!!! Toffee had a really good experience. Definitely, the best groomer.”
“As person who cant consume any products with milk in it i was suprised by 2 vegan cakes and i could even choose from 3 diiferent plant-milks. The cake was super yummi and the girl behind the counter super friendly! Thank you for making a beautiful day even better!”
“Excellent coffee and friendly, helpful service. I've ordered a variety of coffee from Craft house over more than a year. Each order has been dealt with quickly and every coffee has been good. They roast brilliantly to bring out the different flavours in beans. Highly recommended.”
“Lovely guest house overlooking the Cuckmere Valley. Very friendly hosts. Big rooms with view. Will return!”
“The best place in Brighton & Hove for a coffee, snack, good vibes, catching up with friends, or even just a quiet read of a book. Also has excellent outdoor seating! I love Flat Out!!”
“Amazing coffee ….. so tasty. Visited with my sister this morning and on us saying it was my birthday later in the week the lady behind the bar insisted that I choose a free slice of cake to celebrate with. I needed to choose a gluten free option and they had plenty to choose from. I shared the lemon and pistachio cake with my sister. How immensely kind of them. It made my day and we will definitely be back when we are in the area again.”
“Such a gem!! My friends I studied at Herstmonceux Castle last year and this was our favourite local café. The staff were always very kind and friendly, and the drinks and desserts never failed to hit the spot. The space itself is very cozy, cute and clean, the ideal spot for a coffee with friends or an afternoon study session. Can’t recommend Geo’s enough! :)”
“Great coffee spot. Perfectly prepared coffee! Nice cosy coffee shop with an excellent quality baristas who are consistent and really good at what they are doing.”
“Amazing service just such a friendly vibe. Lovely decor and one of the best mochas I’ve had! Will definitely be back ”
“Coffee At 33 – Small shop, big heart (and seriously good coffee!) The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly — you feel welcome the second you walk in. . I ordered an espresso, a cortado, and a hand drip, and every single cup was perfect. Balanced, smooth, and full of flavor — no bitterness at all, just pure coffee joy. Their pastries and baked goods look so tempting too… I wanted to try them all! If you’re in Brighton, you’ve got to check this place out. Just a heads up: it can be a little slow because they’ve got so many loyal regulars — but trust me, it’s 100% worth the wait.”
“Great coffee, opens early, friendly people, and welcoming!! The owner and guy from Essex are the best barristas in Brighton! 10/10!”
“Found this gem of a coffee shop!! Definitely a much needed and nice addition to Lewes. Too many high branded coffee shops take over towns but this one was perfect. Nice drinks and cakes. Will become a regular when we visit Lewes for sure”
“Fabulous independent roastery/caf where you can get a far superior coffee fix than any of the mainstream high street places. Nice industrial space and atmosphere. Didn't try any food so I can't speak on that front, but most importantly, my espresso was excellent. Will stock up on beans next time I pass by.”
“Delicious vegan Victoria sponge & soy vanilla latte. The vegan chocolate flapjack also looked very good”
“Great coffee, nice cafe, friendly owners, great vegan doughnuts”
“Best coffee in town right now, friendly staff and a nice layout. Very relaxed inside.”
“Loved it. The coffee was great, really enjoyed it & ended up staying for two. Sandwiches were good. We would have liked hot food, which I think they do have but had run out of as it was early afternoon when we visited.”
“Delicious coffee and probably the best spinach and feta roll I've ever had! Friendly and prompt service. Laid back atmosphere with some outdoor seating available for sunny days :)”
“Love this Deli. Not only do they have great food, coffee and fresh produce to purchase, the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have been using this place since it opened and many friends and family who are local have done the same on my recommendation…the new Tex Mex nights are great too! If you want a local small business to provide you with locally sourced produce and decent coffee this is your place. They cater well for vegetarian and vegan diets too which can be tricky in smaller towns. Recently I noticed a 1 * review stating they were told “rather rudely” that dogs are not welcome so left. Being a regular I found it hard to believe this. I am aware from being a responsible and reasonable dog owner myself, that there is a sign clearly displayed on the window saying “no dogs” as there is fresh produce on sale in the deli area and counter. I completely understand and respect this. We take our dog on the beach daily and end with a coffee from the deli where they always provide fresh water for dogs outside, tables and chairs for owners and their dogs to sit, and in the past have come to the door or outside to serve us when we have the dog with us or even offer to hold the dog on the lead outside for us whilst we have a mooch inside and decide what to order. So, dogs are welcome just not inside around the fresh produce. I highly recommend this deli - dog owners or not. If you want decent coffee, a great selection of treats, lunches and snacks, and to support a local business head to west beach coffee & deli!”
“Fantastically warm and cozy place. Really friendly and cheerful staff. Awesome cakes and coffee. One of my favourite places to while away a little time.”
“The staff were very welcoming, the coffee was very good that I needed another one. The cafe was cozy and had an inviting atmosphere, seating for lounging and a working space aswell, Overall a lovely place to go with FREE parking too”
