“I really like the coffee here and the place is beautiful”
“Had a fantastic experience when I stopped by today. I saw them on Instagram so popped in to try a couple of coffees and the team were all very friendly. Jonah took me through some of the different beans they had an offer and gave some great recommendations. I enjoyed my latte so much that I even picked up a bag of the beans to take home. Looking forward to coming back.”
“Absolutely love this place. The coffee is amazing—easily the best in the area. Chill atmosphere, superb food, and a great music selection that makes you want to stay longer. Staff are always warm and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough!”
“we came in at around 4pm and didn’t realise that they stopped serving food at 3pm on Tuesdays…a lovely lady that came and told us that decided to make us our food anyway even though she was already working overtime. a full 5 stars for this place!!! thank you so much :)”
“It is my favourite place for a cold day! The food is absolutely delicious, and nothing beats a warm bowl of soup on a chilly day. The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a cozy meal. We’ll definitely be back again!”
“Excellent coffee in a funky setting. The bakery items looked rather nice too.”
“Lovely cafe. Had super tasty bacon and egg sandwich, egg yold was perfectly runny just as I like it”
“Very nice place alot bigger than I thought prices are high but well deserved the area is quiet and peaceful very nice experience will be here again”
“We had a lovely prosecco afternoon tea Tuesday for my birthday which my friend brought me. The ladies were very friendly, we couldn't eat all our lovely cakes so brought them back in a box. The food was very nice and fresh lots of choice. We will definately be visiting again to try more on the menu. Thank you”
“We’ve had coffee & cakes at this places a few times now as we’ve walked the dogs. They’ve had a nice seating area built outside in recent years. The coffee is always good. Glad it’s on our doorstep. The owner does seem to really care which is refreshing to see.”
“Loved the coffee the brunch was lovely great variety of great tasting food breakfast options”
“I wanted to try the “freshly grounded” coffee as seen when I walked past on the high street. The taste of the coffee had exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly smooth. Any coffee lover understands that the taste is in the temperature of the milk and my latte was made to serve my taste buds.”
“Great selection of sweet and savoury crêpes! The crêpes are really thin and delicious! The coffee is strong and the prices are low! There is outdoor seating if you like! The go to place to energise your morning!”
“Honestly honestly the best customer / client service. You could possible have. You can walk in from all backgrounds of life and be greater with kindness from smiles, and experience. I went in not feeling at my best. But honestly they never failed to brighten up my day. They have food that meets all joy. Whether you want to pop in quickly to take away. Go in and stay in or from they bring it home option. I can honestly say, I think there’s nothing startbucks could do Better, they key to keeping their customers happy is definitely shown within their staff. And the brand as a whole seems very lovely from this view Point. #Greeted with kindness.”
“This is an absolute gem of a coffee shop! Its a nice step away from the usual cafe fare thanks to the shop's polish roots. The servers Victoria and Lydia were excellent hosts and immediately made us feel welcome. We tried a range of their hot drinks and we highly recommend the lattes and spiced chai. The star of the show for me had to be the sweets treats. We tried a few of their polish tarts and cakes which were all delicious! The apple and cinnamon pancakes were another highlight as a not too sweet dessert option. I'll definitely be going back and taking more friends and family with me.”
“What a lovely little café. The staff were lovely and friendly. I ordered a breakfast and changed a few items and it was really nice. Also had a nice pot of tea with a big cup. Good value for money too. Seating indoor and outdoor. I would visit again. Only thing is the menu up on the wall - the size was small with my poor eyesight but they had plenty of menus on each table to look at!”
“Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”
“My favourite cafe!!! This little gem in Digbeth serves amazing food and drinks in an inviting setting. The owners are lovely and welcoming - I've NEVER been disappointed with my food. They also sell handmade items from Africa :-)”

“We always get such a warm welcome. The guy who works there is particularly great- so charming , helpful and considerate. Great staff make such a difference and it’s why we come back time and time again”
“What a coffee (espresso)! Absolutey great and they well explained what to expect on the tasting side. All this done by really friendly and kind staff. And on top of it an awesome almond croissant! What do you need more to start your day!”
“I totally forgot to take a picture of my toastie and tea, but this Starbucks is roomy, and like that it has a choice of sofas or chairs. Birmingham university is not too far away so it does have quite a few students that come in and use the table spaces etc. But it's a good vibe. Service was quick and staff were friendly and welcoming.”
“Literally just finished eating and I had to share! This morning my son fancied pancakes so I searched Uber eats for whoever does pancakes and something savoury for me that didn’t include bacon and sausages or too sweet. So I ordered him the Biscoff stack and was delighted by eggs Benedict on their menu and had to give it a try. Both were beautifuly presented but I only have empty containers now so no photographs sadly. The quality is really excellent though, my son loved his pancakes and said they are the best pancakes he’s ever had. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the smoked salmon was good quality and delicate to eat, salad was fresh too. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit or ordering from.”
“Lovely independent coffee outlet at BHX airport. Latte was very nice indeed and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich finished verifying off nicely. Super friendly staff just added warmth to what’s the normal cold environment of an airport departure lounge.”
“This is Bedder's Fish and Chips, Mad O' Rouke's Pie and Mash, Duran Duran, Ozzy and Toni are just some of the great Midlands collaborations. Well, throw in cycles and coffee at Gorilla Coffee Cafe! This brummie institution is a beautiful, bright spacious cafe that is finely tuned for the the road cyclist. If it's the start of your cycling adventure or you've got a thirst on after a heavy day in the saddle, get over here. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great, they even serve local ales. Just find a pew amongst the abundance of seats and rest your weary lycra.”
“Utterly brilliant, beautiful and wonderful place! Food was beyond great. I had the pancakes which came with so much bacon and Maple syrup. My fiance had a bacon and sausage sandwich with such thick bacon, fresh soft bread! Staff and even other customers are friendly, quick service and very good pricing! Shame we don't live closer so we could go regularly. But will definitely be in again and recommending to others Thanks for a lovely lunch :)”
“Asda Driver here, have been delivering to these guys for years and they always take care of their drivers by offering them a hot drink which is greatly appreciated especially during the colder weathers. Staff are really friendly too. I think it's about time I visit this place as a customer and not a delivery drop off guy and what better time than the festive season? Merry Christmas No. 18”
