“We have just come back from a lovely weekend in Norfolk. Whilst there, we stayed at The Coach House in Wroxham. This is was clearly the best B&B that we have stayed in. Martin who runs The Coach House has a fantastic eye for detail and has anticipated all of his guests needs. Our room was immaculate, furnished to a very high standard, with luxurious toiletries and a wonderful tea and coffee selection. Martin offers his guests a large pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake on arrival, very welcome after a long journey. Breakfast was great, with lots of options to choose from, all cooked freshly for you while you enjoy the light and airy breakfast room. The coach house is about a five minute walk into the centre of Wroxham making it a great location in the capital of the Broads. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. “Best cafe stop in my experience taking into account the routes there and back, the tranquil and peaceful setting, the great cakes, tray bakes and savoury food on offer and to wash it all down the 82% hot chocolate all served by the wonderful hostesses Lynn (the owner) and her lovely helpful assistant Lauren. It's become a regular weekly stop for me as you're always made to feel welcome.”

“Wish I could give more than 5 stars! This place I stumbled across is amazing, so clean and fresh! Coffee is the best I have had, yummy cakes and ice-cream. The gentleman who runs this coffee house was so attentive and accomodating especially with my autistic son. Nothing was too much trouble, he even entertained my son which really settled my son. We will definitely be coming back.”

“An utter gem of a place. Great and reasonably priced drinks, the sandwiches are lovely and the space is amazing. It's the best cafe for families with young children as they have a place to play and you won't be judged if they make noise. We love it here.”

“Have passed by this place many times and have wanted to try it. Finally stopped in today and was not disappointed. Had a great flat white and pecan brownie. They are even dog friendly and I swung through the two charity shops near y as well. There is parking near by so easy to stay a while.”

Plus free WiFi and comfy places to sit make this an ideal place to do some work, catch up on emails or, better still, meet friends or even clients for a relaxed chat.”

Last time it was a bit cold weather, so we sat in one of the little sheds and they have heaters in we actually had to turn it off as it got so hot. ☺️ The food is delicious and they even catered for my egg allergy.”

“Stopped for a quick lunch on the way through Hingham. Despite clearly being busy we were seated and served very promptly. Staff were friendly, prices were good and the buck rarebit was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back next time we're that way.”

“Summary Great pub, friendly staff and owner, nice cosy décor including a log burning stove, impressive artwork on walls. Last orders are normally 20:30, with closure at 21:00 for noise reasons I understand. A nice place for drinks, I have not sampled the food though. Detail I use this pub to go for a drink with the family, and sometimes on my own to do a little work in the corner on my laptop whilst nursing a pint. The pub is clean, well maintained, and is well laid out. The beers are clearly well looked after, and have a good selection including some local ones. The pub has 3 rooms, the main room containing the hearth/stove and the bar, the second is dominated by a large table for larger groups and a smaller room with sofas, easy chairs. I haven't sampled the food, but I have seen it brought out and it looks very good. Mainly sharing platters from what I can see. There are some board games on a shelving unit for patrons to use, and the lighting is warm and cosy. Special mention to the nut selection, in particular the salt and vinegar peanuts!”

“We had a delicious meal here to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was Pie night and I had chicken, leek and tarragon and it was great. The staff were really kind, friendly and it was lovely to see so many customers enjoying their food.”

“Had a great Monday lunch here recently August 2024. Simple but very fresh food, that tasted great and looked great on the plate. The 3 other people with me had an equally great experience. They finished off with Cake which they said was fantastic, I was looking after my waist line, which I regretted later. Well priced, amazing atmosphere, very clean and great service.”

“This is a delightful, cosy and welcoming café in the heart of Norwich. We enjoyed a pot Russian Caravan tea and a delicious slice of lemon and almond cake. The added bonus is that it is open late every night of the week (until 11pm or 10:30 on Sundays). That makes it a great spot if you are looking for somewhere to relax and hang out with friends (or just read a book) without going to a pub or a restaurant. They play good music (but not too loud) and the place is clearly popular with locals, being reasonably busy even on a chilly Monday evening in October. Wish I lived just round the corner from a place like this.”

“It's a really cosy spot in Wroxham to relax and watch the boats float past. Delicious selection of cakes, baked fresh on site every day. Tea served the proper way in a teapot. Very comfortable furniture, in relaxing surroundings and friendly proprietor. Will definitely be returning.”

The cakes looked great but I did not try any so can't comment on quality but the coffee was pleasantly rich in flavour. “Normally excellent. My husband and I visited last Saturday 4/11 at 12 noon. I had a breakfast my husband had burger chips and peas. The table was cleared for us to sit down it was not wiped. My bacon was tough, sausages not very nice,my husband left most of his. It also was only warm. We go there regularly and we're very disappointed. We were wondering if it had been taken over. We did not recognise any of the Staff. Maybe it was just a bad day I don,t know.”
