“Such lovely staff! Cant do enough for you And always willing to open early so I'm able to get my coffee - great atmosphere, super clean and very accommodating Excellent coffee too! Definitely recommend x”
“Utterly brilliant, beautiful and wonderful place! Food was beyond great. I had the pancakes which came with so much bacon and Maple syrup. My fiance had a bacon and sausage sandwich with such thick bacon, fresh soft bread! Staff and even other customers are friendly, quick service and very good pricing! Shame we don't live closer so we could go regularly. But will definitely be in again and recommending to others Thanks for a lovely lunch :)”
“A wonderful and thriving coffee shop, always busy from dawn till dusk, with lots of tables there’s ale seats available though. Dog friendly which is a huge plus for me, they even do a doggie Frappuccino to keep your four legged friends tail wagging. The perfect spot to relax alone or meet up with friends. I recommend you bring an appetite as the food is delicious. And the deserts are to die for. Finally there is ample parking, just avoid school leaving time as spaces are hogged by parents collecting children from the nearby school and play school.”
“Really good coffee lot of diffrent types and strengths.Always buy my beans from here top choices of coffee and teas”
“Nice tea rooms in old manor with new additions. Good range if breakfast food served until 11:30am Lunch menu varied with many baked potato dishes. Prices are very teasingly and staff are very friendly. Small tea garden if weather is good:) Nice place to come anytime they are open!”
“I stayed at Leaded Light Guest House on Match 5th 2025, travelling up from London. Helen was accommodating of me as a late arrival. Her sons were welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and my stay was quiet. I recommend Highly.”
“My mother ordered an impulse birthday cake from Coffee Cloud for my 21st and it was amazing ! It tasted so good and looked spectacular. Thank you for helping to make my day special :)”
“This is just over the road from work so I have eaten here several times. The staff have always been friendly, the food tasty and priced fairly. The Big Daddy breakfast lives up to its name without feeling like an actual ordeal. Less gluttonous meals and sandwiches are also available. Overall it's recommended by me and definitely better than the Cranmore Cafe around the corner (which isn't awful, just not as good as here).”
“Iced white mocha coffee was tasty as was the cheese and tomato pannini.”
“Was welcomed by paige who had a smile on her face and was very friendly to all the guests i had a caramel frap which was very nice thank you paige will defo be coming back”
“Took my Dad today and had such lovely service. The girls were so busy and despite this were so happy and helpful. It was a girl with tattoos in particular and I also saw her come away from the counter to help an elderly couple choose a sandwich from the fridge which I thought was so lovely”
“Absolutely outstanding service. The staff is very professional, caring and friendly.”
“Lovely place with lovely hosts! So clean, comfortable, pretty and safe. I would love to come back again!”
“An unexpected treat to discover self contained chalets tucked away in the gardens. All have en-suite with extra comfy beds and unusual decor. Amazingly a teapot and toaster are included in the extras! Very friendly welcome, replacement breakfast provided as leaving at 04:00am! Planes very close by, but did not disturb me, and would prefer this to a modern hotel any day. Taxi to airport was £7:00.”
“the best atmosphere and the best staff they always try to make your day better and its a great place to chill and grab a delicious coffee”
“Satay Beef in panini is really full of flavour, and they don’t skimp on the filling. Nice Coffee. Love this cafe.”
“Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The team were incredibly friendly the moment we arrived, the food came out quickly, and it was absolutely amazing. Special shout-out to Gabby, what a treasure! So warm, attentive, and excellent service throughout. I had the Eggs Royale and honestly, I’d have it every day if I could. Highly recommend.”
“Popped in for breakfast. Food was amazing. BIG breakfast was correct. Would definitely recommend”
“Really lovely vintage café in the heart of Solihull. We were given a very warm welcome and a great afternoon tea (and had so much that we had to take some home with us at the end!). Plenty of tasty sandwiches, scones and cakes, lashings of tea and really friendly service - highly recommended.”
“Had a great breakfast in here. Smoked crispy bacon in sourdough and a smashed avocado brunch. Great coffee and a pot of tea. Really friendly nice staff looking after us to o.”
“Group of us visited on a week day for a late breakfast. Food was great as was the service. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.”
“Loved the vibe of this cafe, the food was excellent too. They've got houseplants and cacti, plus cards and art for sale. We had pancakes and smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, and both dishes were tasty and good value. The only low point was the food took a while to come out, but they'd just had a food delivery so were quite busy. Overall, a great place for brunch right on knowle high street. We'll be visiting again.”
“Had a lovely long awaited catch up with friends today we all agree that Desco has a lovely friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I had the tapas board and it was lovely the patatas bravos especially good. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble which is a 10/10.”
“Edit: We have returned to Java Lounge Blythe Valley park today and I must say we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My coffee was beautifully made and delicious and the children loved their milkshakes. The bearded cheerful chap that made the drinks was attentive and we felt well looked after. We will be returning in future. Thank you. Original review: We have driven past it so many times on our way to and back from VA, so anticipation was building up. We finally stopped off for the first time at Blythe Valley Java Lounge to have a drink on 24/11/18 at around 4pm. First impression was great - decor is lovely, it was clean and welcoming. My children have chosen 2 milkshakes and I went for caramel nutty latte ( or something along those lines, can’t remember exact name). Kids loved their shakes, but my latte was sickening sweet, there must have been a third of a cup or more syrup there. I could not drink it. I raised the issue at the till with a person who made the drink but he said that’s just how it is, it’s caramel after all. I have had caramel lattes from most other established coffee chains including one that is a fast food and never had to leave the drink barely touched. To sum it up, even though my children loved their drinks, we will not be returning as I left very disappointed.”
“Fruit scone and a latte - perfect on a cold, sunny day.”
“A wonderful place with delicious Turkish cuisine. The service is very fast. The portions are huge and everything was very tasty. I recommend it 100%.”
“Went for a spot of lunch and had some pancakes alongside a toastie. The waitress that served us was very polite and professional and our order arrived swiftly. The food was delicious and fresh. The hot chocolate was also hot and did not taste artificial like some places.”
“Friendly service, very polite and good decent food for an average price, a large selection of sandwiches, they have an all day breakfast served until 2.30pm and the hot drinks are good. Overall 5* for this hidden gem.”
