   This cafe is lovely in Solihull I came here last week and had chicken and mushroom pue with salad and garlic bread the food was delicious and very filling. The hot chocolate is creamy it was a cosy atmosphere the staff was lovely I would recommend and I will come back

   Nice tea rooms in old manor with new additions. Good range if breakfast food served until 11:30am Lunch menu varied with many baked potato dishes. Prices are very teasingly and staff are very friendly. Small tea garden if weather is good:) Nice place to come anytime they are open!

   The Solihull Manor house tea room and garden is situated on the high street. Visited around lunchtime and the place was very busy but managed to get a table. Had some coffees and some scones with cream and jam. The coffee was very nice and the scones were absolutely delicious, with some fresh cream and tasty jam. The staff are very friendly and very efficient in a busy lunch service. The menu has different options as pies, sandwiches. And there is a good variety of pastries and cakes on the counter. Overall very nice experience

   I was overly impressed with the service on Saturday, when at the end of a long day we stopped off for a cup of tea and not realising my sugar levels had dropped and I needed to eat the kitchen staff who had already closed down yet they were able to provide me with a little something to help me get through the rest of day until I reached home. They also provided it free. I was touched by their kindness and wanted to express my thanks and appreciation. People are quick to point out negatives but I believe it is vital to point out gestures of kindness and goodwill but also reassuring that people like this are still out there. Thank you again.

   This tucked away little gem of a lunch stop in Solihull is truly a lovely experience everytime. It seems to fly under the radar a fair bit, but you enter through at lovely historic entrance and there is an old traditional side and a new extension that keeps in with the theme of the location. The menu is simple, sandwiches, warm meals like pies & jacket potatoes. Each serving size is big, but great value (cheap!) for what you get. The food is perfectly fine for what you pay, but don't expect upper end dining standards. The clientele of the place is usually of an older generation, truly an oldie's favourite here and that is OK, adds to a slow, relaxed, clam & warm atmosphere. All in all, if you want a cosy warm lunch in Solihull here is the place to go.
