Absolutely love Komodo — easily one of the best coffee spots in Brighton. Their speciality expresso and filter brews are consistently excellent, rich in flavour and beautifully made, whether you're into a flat white or something a bit more adventurous. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the team are friendly and clearly passionate about great coffee. A perfect place to catch up with a friend, relax with a book, or just enjoy a perfect cup.

Have been coming here since the coffee shop opened and realised I never wrote a review! Coffee always tastes fantastic and the staff are lovely - James and Violet were really lovely. Atmosphere is always cozy too, what a lovely hidden gem x

Blink and you've missed it. The cosiest spot for coffee. Small but welcoming. Had an amazing aeropress and left with a bag of beans. I would definitely come back every time I'm in Brighton.

The best coffee in Brighton. End of. As of writing this, there’s 270+ reviews and it still has a flawless 5 stars. That’s because this place is great, truly coffee shop perfection in my eyes, and deserves every single one of them. Regardless of anything else, the coffee is outstanding. I’ve tried two different beans they had an offer, and now can’t wait for another when they switch them up. Both my flat whites were incredible. Smooth, complex, well made and just a joy to drink. The staff are friendly, really chill and make the whole experience lovely. The decor, though a small shop, has so much character and makes the place feel so cosy. Last but not least, the cookies. My word the cookies! A great coffee and a great cookie is a way I want to spend every weekend I have. They are moist and come in some really cool flavours. This place is perfection.

Great coffee served with a smile. Very excited to see such a great little company open up in the south lanes. Fun and exciting branding bringing something fresh to the coffee market.

I live in the Netherlands and I was visiting a friend in Brighton. We both walked by this place coincidentally. The outside was so inviting we decided to walk in. The guy behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. Coffee was amazing! After the first sip I noticed. There's a nice selections of blends and bites available. Will definitely go again when I'm visiting.

Komodo only just opened and I can tell you it’s immediately the best coffee in the old south lanes ☕️☕️☕️

Such a sunny, calm and stylish cafe to enjoy a delicious coffee with no extra charge for plant milks and super yummy vegan cake options :) Highly recommend this lil spot in the Lanes.
