I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The food was amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. It’s also a very quiet and relaxing place, perfect for enjoying a meal in peace. Highly recommended to everyone!
Honestly I cannot tell you how genuinely home cooked and traditional the food served here really is. I stopped here 2 day’s ago on the off Chance and I after walking in I knew it was what me and my family wanted to eat. Home made traditional stews, Charcoal cooked meats and honestly if you want ‘Real, Home Made foods’ then do not even hesitate reading this review - just go and eat. Pictures just don’t do it justice - All I can say is if you haven’t tried it date - Then try it, You’ll make your own mind up.. !
Absolutely beautiful meal for 4. Staff are lovely and the food was cooked to perfection cant believe in all my trips to Brighton this was my first time here. I will definitely be back. Recommend the family meal for 4 the lamb chops were cooked beautifully.
Great authentic Turkish restaurant that make you feel like you are in a street of Istanbul. Food is amazing, and fairly priced. Lutfiye and Turan chef were amazing, both very friendly and smiley. They have the best playlist as well. Will definitely be back.
Great find in Brighton. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend the chicken shish, calamari, salad and prawns. Best meal we had all week!
Regretfully I wanted to give this place a better review. However there isn’t enough love or care in their restaurant. They use cheaper cuts of meat which lack depth of flavour. I found a piece of cartilage in the minced lamb kebab. I don’t want to know which part of the animal is ground up to make the mince. The chicken used was the type that’s plumped up with water. The salad was given with a lemon that still had the sticker on it. If they put lemons in a salad that still have a sticker on it then how do I know if they washed the lemon before cutting it? The decor is tired. The music was good. I felt tired, heavy and bloated after eating the meat. I didn’t want to leave a poor review because it’s a small family run business however unlike other Turkish restaurants in Brighton which have similar prices, I don’t think that they respect their customers by not caring for the quality and care of preparation of their food. If they read this review I hope that they improve their service. On balance I won’t ever be returning.
I left the restaurant with full of regretfulness. This is literally the worst Turkish restaurant I've seen throughout the UK. Not a family friendly place with primitive management - staff were swearing and screaming. They didn't look after us as customers - I ordered soup which was not delicious as well as lahmacun - I even couldn't taste the meat. Beyti was somehow fine. All dishes came in rather small portion. These are my experience I already deleted it from my to-go list.
Authentic food and lovely customer service!
This has to be the best Turkish restaurant south of London. The selection and quality of the taste is exceptional. They do fantastic starters and have a great selection of very filling mains. And of course, delicious Turkish coffee. It seems more and more difficult to find real Turkish coffee these days, so I'm grateful to see it here. Made the 40 min drive worth it.
