Booked this place to have cocktails and dinner for 7 people 20th dec 25 I had been a few years ago and had a fab meal and great exp. I dont know what has hsppened to the place but its beyond awful! The restaurant was closed so we were seated in the bar area we had to get menus the bar staff didnt know how to make a cocktail and didnt have kahlua! Call yourself a cocktail bar? One girl tried her best. We were very lucky to get into another place for dinner as the menu was a casual dining burger day menu not the fine dining we were expecting. The late night club downstairs wasnt even open. The place was a shambles and wil not be open much longer, I expect Its always been a white elephant. Shame. Very disapointed.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Ben, the owner, who’s been an absolute gentleman! I recently hired the downstairs venue to host my partner’s baby shower and birthday, and the staff were nothing short of incredible. Big shoutout to Fred and the whole team for making the day so special! We had such a wonderful experience — everything went perfectly — and I honestly can’t wait to hire the venue again. Ben, you’ve created such an amazing place with fantastic service. Until next time!

We celebrated my husband’s Birthday at Third Avenue. Ben, Bruce and all the staff were so very friendly, welcoming and flexible. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and a great venue for our party of 65 family & friends. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a great evening.

My partner and I took a chance and entered this venue which was surprisingly quiet. The menu had brunch items which were appealing. We chose our table, the decor was really cool, servers were exceptionally friendly and when the food came out, it was excellent. Reasonably priced and great quality. Served with a smile. Thanks guys and gals, a real pleasure.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! The interior design transported me back to the 1920’s with a modern twist. The cocktails are some of the most unique and delicious I’ve had in Brighton! Would 100% recommend

I celebrate my birthday downstairs in the private lounge. The service was excellent and the staff is really polite and attentive. This place is elegant, great atmosphere and nice terrace. Love everything of this restaurant, the attention to details are amazing.Definitely will go back.

Best place I’ve eaten in Brighton. Alice the lovely lady who worked there was amazing with her warm personality and her knowledge of the food and drinks was phenomenal. Very helpful as we had a few allergies which was all catered for. Extensive speciality coffee menu (which I just loved!) stuffed aubergine was incredible. Probably the best aubergine I’ve had.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant but need better signage as we almost walked past! They are dog friendly and we went for a late breakfast the best one we’ve been to in this area! Lovely staff and the pastries at the counter are delicious, the drinks are great and the portions are perfect. I would definitely recommend (this is coming from a very critical reviewer!)
