This place is a Hove staple, it’s beautiful inside, with amazing chandeliers and a beautiful bar. They run a consistently great Jazz night and the bar is always full of good mix of ages and people. I had Thai food here a long time ago, it is a good standard of pub Thai and very reasonable

Pub itself is great, good tap lineup, service and atmosphere. The food let the place down in my opinion. Tempura veg was lacklustre and mains had a rubbish meat to veg ratio, curry could have been more flavourful. But would go again to see if we just ordered wrong as others have good things to say about it

There's fantastic live jazz every Wednesday evening from 8pm, making it a regular highlight for music lovers. The night features an impressive lineup of talented artists from across the UK, bringing a fresh and exciting energy each week. At the heart of it all is the outstanding house band, led by the brilliant Chris Coull on trumpet, whose musicianship and presence set a high standard. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, with great acoustics and a real sense of connection between the performers and the audience. A must-visit venue for anyone who appreciates quality live jazz.

Great place for any evening, whether it is to have a drink and a catch up with a friend(s) or to also have some Thai Food. Staff always friendly and kin to help you choose what beer from the tap you should order if you are one of those people like me who wants to try something new but also not to be disappointed. Thai Food is presented beautifully and couldn't fault the taste. Only downside is how loud is the music. Have been going there a few times to catch up with friends on a weekday after work but struggled to follow conversations.

One real ale, very nice, other beers n lagers n ciders on tap. Plenty of seating including around the spacious centre bar. There are numerous TVs showing sporting events as well as nicely volumed music.

The Wick has a great atmosphere and the background music is great. I ate a delicious Thai green curry. The best I've eaten in a long time. I recommend the pub and the food

Great Jazz evening upstairs on a Wednesday night. Lovely small venue. Simon Savage on Sax was amazing.
