   Lovely roast by Barbino from Cin Cin and big chance since last time I had a roast there. Beef was delicious; cooked to perfection as well as the vegetables . Great roast potatoes! I am personally not so keen on the creamy leeks but nothing wrong with them if that’s your taste. I needed some parsnips though! Gravy was delicious and I loved that the roast wasn’t floating on it! Just enough on the plate and extra on the side to top it up as you want. The service was friendly and very attentive. Staff was around checking we were served well and on time. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would like to go again and try the pork next time. But for now, if beef is your thing, I can happily recommend you to try it at the Windmill. Thumbs up!    Honestly the worst roast I've had. We chose The Windmill on good recommendation from some friends, who had assured us this was one of the top spots in Brighton. Unfortunately, it looks like the kitchen has changed because what we received was atrocious. Portions were pitiful, and none of our party felt satisfied with what we'd paid for. On top of this, between booking and dining, the menu had increased every main by roughly £4, taking a roast beef dish (with 1 carrot quartered, roughly 1/8th a leek, 4 small mediocre roast potato's and a tiny Yorkshire pudding) to £24. We appreciated the understanding of the staff, who were happy to take on feedback and apologised for our experience and explained they were getting to grips with their new menu. I get the sense our feedback had common amongst most diners that had visited. Ultimately an incredibly disappointing experience and one that I've had to relay to friends who had been planning to visit. I hope they're able to resolve their issues. We won't be visiting again. (for context, the photo is attached is the Vegetarian Pie at £19. Pie-lid was solid.)

   From the ambience to the service - to the food, 10/10! My quest to find a decent roast outside of my Mum's house has been ongoing for years - Alberta's food at The Windmill delivered. A really lovely meal with thoughtful & delicious touches. Particularly impressed with the input from the chef, the pride in their work shines through. Particular highlights; pickles, beef, cauliflower cheese! Highly recommend.

   We sat outside in the sun and had a wonderful start to our Saturday. The food catered by Alberta’s is great, maybe the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Brighton. That being said, it is expensive. £16 for a single sandwich isn’t something I’m gonna make a habit out of but don’t mind for a one-off. Drinks also pricey but that’s not uncommon in Brighton these days.

   I was glad i found this place near the sea front. I had checked out other places selling fish n chips and they are expensive. I would recommend this place, my fish n chips and hot wings were lovely. The guy serving gave me great service n food for reasonable price.

   Under new management. Guaranteed to find a great pint of beer and a friendly crowd. Dogs are very welcome. Looking forward to spending more time there. We had several delicious pints of Hand Brew Co. Bird - served smooth and creamy through a sparkler. A very rare treat in the south.

   Great pub. Stopped for one drink and had an Aperol spritz which was divine! One of the best I've had out. Lovely small outside area road facing at the front. My friend had french fries which were very good. Didn't go inside. I believe they may have a restaurant company working from the kitchen. But didn't see a menu. Will be back for sure.

   bar is one of the best i have been to... the bar lady was really helpful and friendly and the food was super yummy really delicious, if you are looking for a place to b extra comfy and soak up the son while been treated like royalty this is the place to come
