   UPDATE - Sadly Escape closed in February 2025, but has finally reopened (JUly 2025) under new management - I will get in to update as soon as possible. OLD REVIEW AS FOLLOWS: Monday night meals are now solved. While lots of other restaurants are closed, you can get some of the best Turkish food in Worthing, either in the bar, or if the weather is good out on the terrace looking out at the sea. You may know Escape as the late night bar - it’s open later than anywhere else in town every day, but their secret is the excellent, super-fresh, really high quality food. We had friendly and helpful guidance through the menu. The steaks and lamb come on sizzling hot rocks that allow you to continue to cut and cook your food for quite a while so you can have your steak exactly as you like it. Don’t touch the rock! Deserts are good too, but you probably will need to take food home with you- particularly if you also have one of the great range of starters. My advice: share a starter. Alternatively, a shared mixed starter makes a pretty good small plate meal in itself. But then you miss out on the very good mains. It’s open all week, so you can work your way around the menu over time. Also: check out the cocktails- sometimes there’s a deal so it’s worth getting two. In summary, an unexpected gem for food that you might have thought was just a late night bar. Turns out it’s both!

   It was my first time there. I was hoping to see some musicians "jam" but due to a lack of musicians it turned into karaoke, which was fun to watch. The food was great, the wine was great and the service (kudos to the new lady: Eden) was delightful. I look forward to returning.

   First and Foremost the staff were outstanding, going above and beyond to cater to your needs. The food was absolutely delicious, and the salad was freshly made and everything else was mouthwatering. Not to forget the ambience of where the restaurant is placed overlooking the beach. Cocktails were on point!

   Updated: 12/07/2023 5th time visiting this restraunt since my initial review. The steak on black rock was divine, much better then most of the other local establishments. Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could

   Came here with my wife, we had fillet steak, rump steak and cocktails. The zombie cocktail (suggested by the server) was refreshing. The steaks were served on a hot stone slab wich cooks the steak at the table wich is a nice gimmick. The food was delicious, one of the best places we have been so far. The staff were very helpful in finding gluten free food and very friendly. Great music with a fun atmosphere.

   Brilliant food and cocktails along the seafront. I had the hunters chicken burger with a white Russian cocktail. The bar staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an interesting place to eat.

   Had a lovely meal whilst sitting on a swing chair with a lovely view. Staff are really helpful and friendly and care. I had a cheeseburger and it was very delicious and well presented. The food is handmade. Cocktails are made really well. I would recommend for a place to sit on a nice hot day. Thank you for a lovely experience escape team !
