“A most delicious pizzeria, which is a paradise for vegans. We walked around the nice city. A family of vegans, with children. Oregano was an excellent option for lunch. The restaurant opened just as we arrived, and we waited a bit for them to sort it out. The owner was nice to us the whole time. We ordered a margherita pizza for the kids. The adults shared a mushroom pizza and an oregano salad with sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts. The food was perfect, the service excellent. We have really enjoyed.”

“I've lived in South India on and off for 30 years and when I'm back here, have always missed proper southern food. I've even travelled to Croydon just to eat idli when the missing has got too bad. These people make extravagantly good proper southern food. If you know this food, I guarantee you that here you've found the real thing. If you've never tried it, get in and eat! My favourites.....vada with a cup of tea in the afternoon; idli sambar for brunch with a side of coconut sambal; string hoppers and chickpea curry for teatime; paratha and chicken lollipop as late night munch.”

“Wonderful food and great portions we had a lovely family meal. They don't do chips which the little one wanted although they do a kids size portion for one of meals which was good. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want to eat some lovely food in a great setting.”

“Shafiques is THE best Indian restaurant/takeaway out there. Me and my partner frequent Shafiques for every occasion, every chance we get! My family loves the food and they always say there is never a single fault! This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars, it’s our absolute favourite! The staff are all so friendly as well which makes the dining experience even better! Not a single bad thing about this place! Would recommend time and time again!”

The picture of a self-made success, from the story printed on the menu to seeing the owner come through the door with groceries - she even came to chat for a bit, an absolutely charming lady. I ordered huge fried king prawns on a bed of rice. The portion was massive, prawns were plentiful and delicious, perfect crisp and taste. Rice was sweet and mixed with prawn bits perfectly. Others at ther table ordered all sorts, noodles and rice and vegetables each, and all of them were hugely portioned, delicious, and kept us fed the whole day. I can't believe how lucky I am to have this place so close to my house.”

“Just to highlight the excellence service - Spice I Am is our favourite takeaway and the food is always excellent. On this occasion they got our order wrong with one of the curries and i didn't see when i collected - we tried what they had sent but it was too hot. So i rang them and explained and they apologised and had the replacement delived to us without a fuss. Can't praise them highly enough”

My experience over the years just getting better and better! Owner always around very professional and friendly staff! Location just couple minutes walking distance from the Worthing sea side! “I like to use a restaurant a few times before I leave a review, I've ordered from Mumbai kitchen about 6 or 7 times, and I've throughly enjoyed every meal I've had. The food is really reasonably priced, not to expensive. I really like the curry box, it's perfect for one person, and comes with rice, the chips are nice to . The staff are always friendly to. I would definitely recommend giving Mumbai kitchen a try. It's five stars from me!”

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he was attentive and made us feel like the only people in the bar despite the bar being full of Christmas parties. Would thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch and Harlequins especially if served by Szymon!”

The service is always warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is great both inside and out, with elevated views of the beach, the Steyne, and Brighton in the distance, which makes it especially nice in the summer. “We went for the all you can eat Chinese and we can say it was some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten! The duck was delicious and crispy and everything was cooked to perfection! The staff were all absolutely lovely and very attentive. The food came nice and quickly and the staff were constantly checking if we wanted to try more dishes. Couldn’t recommend enough! Also is a huge venue so would recommend for bigger groups of people (6-8).”

“I used to be a chef at The Royal School for the Blind in Surrey. Their taste was heightened and it was a challenge. With that experience I am hard to please when it comes to good food. We had aromatic duck pancakes. Duck was beautifully done. Ribs absolutely delicious. Light fluffy rice with generous meat. Chicken satay had a light kick to it, succulent and really nice. We are very critical of takeout food because it's often rushed and it's annoying when something is missing. But these guys really hit the spot. A birthday treat. Really loved all of the food. Top marks from both of us. Thank you.”

“We had a brewery experience day with zak the brewer on Saturday 15th November. On arrival we knew it would be a great day as greeted by zak with bacon sarnies and coffee quickly prepared. The brewery room was cozy and felt perfect for a personal day for the 3 of us. The day was hands on and the samples during the day made it flow well. Zak was full of knowledge, good humour and great personal service. He is a huge asset to the company and the whole day. Lunch was served at a good time and come to us all within our own private brewing room. To finish the day we had a choice of our own beer to take away. We will be back again to see zak and see what else we can brew. Overall the day was more than great. It was amazing. Richard worthing.”
