I’ve never ever experienced such bad customer service. We visited here a few months ago and the food was ok, service was patchy but my son really liked it… he wanted to return for his birthday. I booked a table weeks in advance, receiving confirmation and a reminder. Turned up only to find it completely closed! No notice, no email, call or text…. we went to Guisseppes in Warwick Lane instead and it was a million time nicer.

Love it here. The food is well priced and consistently fantastic. The service is always warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is great both inside and out, with elevated views of the beach, the Steyne, and Brighton in the distance, which makes it especially nice in the summer. It’s authentic and locally owned too. Highly recommend!

For a Thursday early afternoon I found service a little frustrating. I came in on my own and found myself a table, I waited 15 m in nutes for menus and another 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I had literally started to look on my phone for other places nearby. I had the same experience when I asked for the bill, but then there was only 1 server for the restaurant. The pizza was good, and the chips were under cooked. I would likely try somewhere else next time I'm in town.

Lovely evening having dinner. Had calamari for starters which was lovely and came out so quickly. Then for mains had the Vongole which came out pretty much as soon as they took the starter plates away. Even though it mentioned chilli in the dish, I had this elsewhere before and it wasn’t as spicy. Could have had a few more clams in too. But was lovely. The desert was just so so good. Very warm choc brownie and the ice cream was amazing. Very kind staff. Would go again.

What a great experience, The restaurant has undergone a full rip out and has been refurbished to a high standard. The waitress was very helpful and fun and made us all feel welcome The manager came over to say hello which was a nice touch. The food was piping hot and with great flavours. The children's menu had enough choice to keep picky eaters happy. The toilets were clean and well presented. A great Italian run by Italians what more could you ask for. I Will definitely be coming back again. Keep up the good work.

Extensive menu including many interesting fish and seafood pasta dishes. Had a very good prawn scallop black linguine and delicious pannacotta, will come again to try other seafood dishes. Friendly service and big bonus of being dog-friendly.

Sadly a very meh experience. Staff were polite enough, took a drink order and food order and didn’t ask if we wanted top ups when our drinks were finished. Friends calamari was possibly freezer burned, and the prawns were deep fried with the shells on? My deep fried mozzarella was still cold in the middle. Mains were a similar affair, my pizza was bland, but well cooked and not burnt! Friends seafood pasta had over cooked scallops that were too tough to bite through, and then we got a £5 service charge on the bill! Wouldn’t have minded that too much if we had had an option to get a second drink?

Worthing is just one of brio's two branches, the other is located in shoreham. On entering the restaurant is very spacious and well laid out with a multitude of tables to pick from with outside seating available too with a seafront view. The food came out very quickly and was very well presented, service was fast and attentive, yet the venue was very quiet so as for busier times I can't tell. All parties including myself had no complaints at all about the food, taste or portion size. Drinks are priced rather highly with a pint of lager being £6.00 yet this is not completely out the ordinary for the area. Overall good experience will go again
