   I recently tried the new starter menu at Stonehouse and was so impressed! The chicken goujons were perfectly cooked — lovely and tender, soft inside and not dry at all. The Camembert fondue was creamy and indulgent, paired beautifully with the toasted garlic bread (a match made in heaven!). The harissa prawns were another highlight — packed full of flavour with just the right hint of spice without being overpowering. Everything was well presented and tasted fresh. A fantastic new addition to the menu — I’ll definitely be ordering these again!

   Stressful visit - It feels very run down. Paintwork chipping, upholstery torn, tables dirty looking. Quite shoddy and in need of a refit - or at least a decent deep clean. It's another victim of carpark management - whereby if you fail to register your vehicle at the bar on arrival you'll be fined. We ordered food from the menu and it was a 30 minute wait for fish and chips (the whole time we were watching the clock run down on the parking) - which was hot when delivered so that's a bonus. The staff looked a bit fed up, but we're reasonably attentive. Vinegar was delivered to us in a tiny open pot made of plastic which required a feat of balancing to carry it to the table. The loos were a bio-hazzard. It's a shame, it used to be quite nice.

   Neighborhood restaurant.... Buffet style... Had a courtesy Yorkshire Pudding... Crispy, airy, tasty & greasy... Free parking for 2 hours... Friendly staff... Children's playground... Outdoor & indoor sitting... Nice big bar... Very refreshing to have this establishment in the neighborhood... Encourage all to support local businesses as these.

   Waitress Shani was excellent & very friendly. The beef joint was too small to get anything decent from & the chef would not get another even after a few customers asking. The apple pie was microwaved but a generous portion. The other food we had was delicious.

   Always excellent! We have been visiting regularly for many years. Food is always plentiful and fresh, and staff, in particularly Shani, are always really kind and welcoming. We are never rushed and nothing is too much trouble. Great value all round!

   Absolutely disgusting! Beef on the carvery was like a hockey puck! Potatoes were like rocks. Ordered a ‘chicken burger’ was like the sole on a flip flop. Had to ask for the food from the carvery to be put in the microwave. Cannot fault the staff behind the bar. They were very apologetic but the kitchen staff were just rude! Will not be going back here.

   Poor service, waited 45 minutes for drinks, 45 minutes for takeaway desserts(see in pic for the monstrosity of it), 20 minutes for Gravy and 40 mins for pigs and blankets. Waitress was rude. No staff at the bar to chase up our orders awful experience.

   After eating here several years ago I was not expecting much, BUT I was very pleasantly surprised. My father had the carvery which he thoroughly enjoyed, I went with the Philly Burger that was really tasty. Sharni was lovely, attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning
