   Happened by this evening on the way to somewhere else. I heard live music and popped in. Two amazing singers/musicians playing individual sets. Really good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Friendly locals. Clean toilets. No hooligans. No bother. A wonderful unexpected few hours of music, laughter and smiles with strangers.

   Great local pub in the heart of town. Did not have any food so cannot comment. Nice courtyard garden- rare for a pub in the centre of town. Good selection of beers and reasonably priced too! Only one small negative, a few too many TVs - would be nice if one side of bar did not have these as not everyone in there to watch sport.

   Went here for a birthday function. The service was good and staff were very polite. A good selection of drinks were available. Facilities were clean and tidy. A good pub on the fringes of the town centre , which was not so crowded that you couldn't move.

   Called here this Sunday afternoon and received a warm welcome. Good Pinot grigio and a pint of neck oil. I then realised that there is a small bar to the right hand side where they have a few real ales on so I also sampled a Landlord. They also welcomed our dog. Outside space to the rear. A large busy pub(great to see) with plenty going on and with friendly clientele.
