Traditional lively pub. Good selection of lagers and beers. No food rating as I didn't eat there. Highly recommended.

Dropped in on a Sunday for a quick pint and was pleasantly surprised—proper traditional pub with a warm, welcoming vibe. Traditional decoration with the carpets, table and chairs. The atmosphere was genuinely friendly, with plenty of staff behind the bar and a lovely woman who seemed to be running (or possibly owning) the place. That evening featured a DJ —mostly blues-inspired, but with a great mix of classic “wedding” tunes that everyone of a certain age knows and loves. It kept us there far longer than planned We had a lovely night.

Going to keep this short and bitter like the management that run this “pub”. Locals only atmosphere, with an overwhelming smell of prejudice and aggression lingering behind the bar. Complete shocked how customers were treated and spoken to. I guarantee a petty or made up reply back to this review seems a common trait for this unprofessional “pub” owners

Had a great time celebrating nephews 40th last night. 80s DJ was good, atmosphere was good. Didn't have food so owner reserved a room for us to bring our own so we had our own little private hideaway. Would definitely recommend.

Made an impromptu visit on a Friday night and was so glad we did! The staff gave us a warm, friendly welcome and were very attentive throughout the evening. The bar staff even remembered our round, which was a nice touch. The DJ played excellent music, and the atmosphere was fantastic. A great night all around. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

A lovely little pub with friendly staff and customers, with a decent drinks selection and at reasonable prices. A shame they don't accept card payments, but that may be down to the charges.

The pub it self is clean and tidy and the Garden area is really beautiful and a lovely place to enjoy a warm sunny afternoon. Good choice of drinks available at reasonable prices HOWEVER…The service is somewhat questionable, one of the bar maids was very welcoming and seemed friendly but on more than one occasion I was shocked by the attitude and the abrupt manner of some of the bar staff, so much so that we chose leave after just a couple of hours and we had planned to spend the evening enjoying the lovely weather in a local beer garden.
