   Fabulous first visit to the monthly brunch sessions on 1st Saturday of each month. Absolutely cracking. A great range on the brunch menu without being overwhelming, good choices and lovely selection of sides/extras. Enjoyed a beautifully presented plate of food that was amazing value for money! Also, try a brunch cocktail, or enjoy with juice or a cuppa. Or a pint! But do go and try. Staff super friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, a warm hubbub of chat, a really chilled atmosphere for a good feed after a big night out, a catch up with friends/family/neighbours or colleagues. A local for more than just locals. Dog friendly, family friendly. Just really friendly. Brilliant!!

   This is a lovely ‘Proper’ pub & microbrewery, if we lived near here it would be the perfect local. A terrific selection of ales, their own and guests, all well kept and delicious. Food first class, hake goujons burger yesterday, mussels today. Lovely seating outside too.

   Top quality food with more than generous portions. Great staff who were helpful and happy. Definitely would recommend and come again in a heartbeat! Personally ordered: Starter: Olives - which came with rustic bread, hummus and oil with vinegar dip. Sharer: Nachos - which was topped with guacamole, chilli's, jalapeños and bbq brisket.

   Terrific pub and microbrewery in a lovely quiet spot near Epsom common. We went for the beer festival which was a top-notch, along with their beautifully kept selection of excellent ales indoors too. The beer fest food menu was filthy and gorgeous. Loaded fries can end up being a soggy mess, but this was perfect.

   Great ‘little’ pub. Friendly, good selection of drinks including ales that pour to a good standard, good food and reasonably priced for an independent local. Welcoming place. Can get busy especially if outside not suitable due to weather so recommend booking if looking to specifically eat as a group.

   Visited this pub for first time on Friday night. Great atmosphere, and log fires very warming. The burger and skinny fries were excellent. Timing in the kitchen was spot on as the burger had come nice and hot and fries straight from the fryer. Will be heading back for sure!

   Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch here with friends. The portion sizes were good, meat cooked to perfection. We all really enjoyed the well-seasoned roast potatoes and thought there was an excellent variety of tasty vegetables on the plate! Beef, pork, lamb shank all very good - there is also a vegetarian option. Cosy carpeted bar area, with an excellent variety of drinks, including beer brewed at the micro brewery on site.

   Such a lovely place to enjoy with friends or take the family. Food is absolutely stunning, Great selection of beers on tap, wine is to die for, and you'll never be short of a new Gin & Tonic combination! Staff couldn't make you feel more at home! Whether you're sitting by the wood fire or enjoying a drink in their lovely beer garden, you're guaranteed to have a great time. Only half hour from London but you feel like you're properly immersed in the countryside! A Must if you're taking the dog for a walk across Epsom Common!
