   Had a lovely Christmas dinner on Christmas Day , the food was good and loads of meat, bit stingy on the veg but non the less it was good food. HUGE Yorkshire pud. The staff, as always , were amazing so welcoming and friendly , the beer cold and a good selection too. Our stay was only marred by a loud, drunk, loads of money , family who really didn’t give a hoot about anyone but themselves , not The Crowns fault but did mar the event for the other patrons there!, hence 4 stars for atmosphere . We love this venue and will be back many times.

   I used to go to The Crown a lot a few years ago - but haven’t been recently. We went yesterday for a Sunday Roast and it was one of the best roasts I’ve had out. We shared the Pinacha Beef between four of us and was delicious. Cauliflower cheese also good! The new refurb is also fantastic - especially the toilets. Highly recommend and will be back sooner than a few years!

   Stayed in Chertsey before going to thorpe park and decided to pop into a pub for a few drinks and dinner. Pleasant and welcoming bar staff, beautiful decor throughout inside and outside, the food was cooked beautifully and just as we requested, waitress was always checking to make sure we were happy with everything and if we needed any top ups on drinks. Will definitely visit again.

   Thought we would try again for Sunday lunch seeing that they had a new landlord thinking nice new menu well was we wrong same old menu gave it a try had the belly pork very disappointed had to ask for steak knives to cut the pork the Yorkshire pudding shattered when we cut it ate as we were hungry ask for ice cream not even a wafer they need to either get a new chief that knows how to cook a nice Sunday lunch ‘O’ & on paying was asked if we would like to leave a TIP what a cheek you tip at your own discretion not to be asked will not be going back

   From the website photos you can’t tell how good this place is. But on every level it’s awesome. The highlight are the staff who pip the super comfortable bed and room for excellent resins to stay here

   Nice atmosphere, cool drinks. One of the guests urinated against a wall. Fun to watch, kind of… Only nagging: we ordered food and after a while we asked about its whereabouts, and as it seems the waiter had totally forgotten about the event that was taking place, so they were not serving any extra food. Cheers!
