Have heard so many positive reviews about this pub so eventually after living in this area for over 30 years decided to try it! I have to say, the pub is a beautiful, traditional, clean and well maintained place. The staff were relaxed, chatty and mostly attentive but the food was what we went there for and was very disappointing! The starters of beef “slow cooked” beef and “warm goats cheese” salad were certainly not as described on the menu! The Goats Cheese Salad was a warmed piece of cheese on a dry piece of bread with no oil or lubricant with a few grapes and a bit of celery on a plate far too small! Not a salad at all - an awful description for a menu. The soup was average too, lacking depth of flavour despite being a “slow cooked” beef soup! Also no added bread and butter and served luke warm! Roast Ok 7/10 - have to pay extra for cauliflower cheese etc. My partner chose a steak £38.00 & sauce £2.00 & a side of garlic potatoes (which were tiny £4.00) and asked for the steak to be served blue which they agreed to but clearly didn’t let the meat rest long enough or sear it again before serving! The sauce was tasteless also! Then my partner ordered the “baked Alaska” as a special which was served still frozen, clearly just purchased as an afterthought but advertised as something it simply wasn’t! The food on the menu is simple but yet it does not deliver! I am not one to take photos of everything I eat but I wish I had to show had average it all was. Next time I will take photos for sure! Overpriced and underwhelming sadly!

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. Easily found somewhere to sit as there are plenty of areas to choose from. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. Some great vegetarian options with the ability to customise meals for allergies. Service was very efficient and they do a great lunch time deal. Throughly enjoyed!

Food is excellent and really tasty. The meat was cooked perfectly with the two textures of grilled and it's own. The service was perfectly good. The restaurant is just couple of meters out the Staines centre and well situated at a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely little pub with friendly staff and fab food. Luckily there was parking outside but I got the impression that doesn't happen too often. I had the Chicken Schniztel followed by the Fruit Crumble. It was amazing. I'd happily eat here again.

Nice family run pub in the heart of Staines. Lovely chilled atmosphere perfect for families. Food selection is good and reasonable price for higher end pub food. Children's menu available also. Service from staff was very good and food was well presented hot and cooked to a high standard. Sitting area outside when weather nice enough. Limited road parking but within 5 mins work of Staines town centre and car parks.

Lovely food and very friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Prices have risen since last visit some time back but understand input cost increases impact. Was quiet if that's important.

Went into The Bells whilst I was staying in Staines. I have wanted to check the Pub out for ages. I first of all went in on Sunday. They were just starting their week quiz night which is great if that is your thing. I found all the staff that I met were all so friendly and helpful. It was nice to go into a pub that didn't have loud music blaring.

Loving the new renovation at the bells! The new menu is also really good, the crispy gnocchi are a brilliant starter with a savoury truffle taste.
