“Great Little Irish Pub, best Gunniess in Greenford by far, great for the criac, live music on the weekend. Made to feel at home straight away. Trad session on Mondays, Karaoke on firdays, definitely worth a visit if your near the area.”
“Popped in a couple of times over the weekend to watch football whilst housesitting for my Mum in the local area. Good beer at very reasonable prices in a clean pub. Was made to feel very welcome by all of the lovely staff there”
“I went to the pub to celebrate my friend’s birthday and both the food and service were excellent. I didn’t realise I needed to register my car in their car park, so a few days later I received a parking ticket. I emailed them to explain, and they were very kind and efficient, cancelling my ticket within an hour. Fantastic customer service – highly recommend this place!”
“Me & my partner stayed here last night as she had an operation & needed to recover before travelling. The staff, especially Andrew the manager, were friendly, accommodating & couldn't do enough for us. This included a free upgrade to a A/C room on the ground floor to reduce noise disturbance, excessive movement & increased comfort. Bed was comfortable, modern shower room & soft lighting made it a pleasant stay, we even were graced with free coffees before we left. Definitely a top pick for an extremely competitive price with great hospitality, will certainly stay again if needed! Thank you!”
“Lovely sports bar. Extremely well presented and decorated. Very pleasant staff. A top notch place.”

“Service was great. Portion sizes of the food are generous.”
“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”
“The Railway Hotel in Greenwood is a charming historic property that perfectly blends old-world character with modern comfort. Its location is ideal, situated right in the heart of Greenwood, making it convenient for exploring the town’s heritage sites, shops, and scenic surroundings. The building itself carries a sense of history, with classic architecture and a nostalgic atmosphere that makes staying here feel like stepping back in time, yet without sacrificing the essentials of comfort and hospitality. Food is another highlight at the Railway Hotel, with hearty meals and locally inspired dishes available for guests and visitors alike. The dining options reflect both tradition and quality, offering a warm, welcoming place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Combined with its historic charm, central location, and genuine character, the Railway Hotel stands out as a memorable place to stay and dine in Greenwood.”
“One of my favourite restaurants in London,”
“A wonderful friendly local. Reasonably priced and fantastic friendly service. I regularly bring my family here and we always are treated with kindness and the food is great. I recommend The Ballot Box whether you want a quiet pint or a family get together”
“Delivery is great, takes a bit of time, because food is cooked fresh. And it is SUBLIME! Delicious fresh flavours, and absolutely massive portions, we always have enough for the next day. I would give it more stars if I could.”
“Visited this place to try out the food and was blown away by this little unassuming spot. The food featured Sri Lankan styled menu with and explosion of taste and authenticity. I didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t rate the hotel but the food! OMG! It was amazing! I’m just annoyed that my belly couldn’t take in anymore. Food was buffet styled and there was a reasonably stocked bar. I can happily say that I would remember this place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the food.”
“Delicious food, amazing service. Can't go wrong with Garry's fish and chips”
