   Lovely pub but food was disappointing. Pros: - beautiful and lively pub. - we were there with our dog and 3-month old - the staff were accommodating even though it was packed and we hadn’t booked a table - the stick toffee pudding was delicious too. Cons: the classic beef burger was really basic and disappointing: - beef patty was very bland, almost no seasoning at all - the buns were cold and not toasted - the relish/mayo was simple and didn’t add much to the burger

   A really lovely pub. We like to eat inside and love the decor. Staff are super friendly and service excellent. (Server was Cello; last time we came it was Poppy- both lovely as was everyone else.) Four of us are vegetarian and chose very nice dishes (carrot soup; hummus dish; pimientos de Padrón; veggie wellington; goats cheese salad; fish and chips. We also love the soda bread.)    Brilliant experience visiting for the first time after moving to the area. Book online for a Sunday lunchtime table for four. The staff were very accommodating at being able to add another person to the booking at short notice and our dog was welcome too. Roasts were delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. Will be visiting again.

   I tried the hamburger, Greek salad, beef pie, and ice-cream brownie. The burger was ok, nothing special. Greek salad was fresh and well balanced. Beef pie was hearty with a rich filling. Brownie with ice-cream was indulgent and a great finish.

   Enjoyed the food, we ordered croquettes, sausage rolls, and very surprised by how densely filled the chicken and beef pies were. Busy on the weekends, filled with dog walkers and families. Lots of parking on nearby residential roads.

   This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.

   My favourite pub in the area by far. Great menu and food, beautiful location especially in the summer. Staff are generally friendly apart from the one girl who was texting when I was waiting to be served at the bar. Love the fact it’s a dog friendly pub though. It does get busy on the weekends so good idea to book.

   We went without a reservation and we got a table anyway (for 2) at midday on a Saturday. The order was quickly delivered, and honestly it has been the best fish and chips I’ve ever tried. What is the most amazing? The many dogs people brought with them, It was utterly loving
