My favourite pub. A good selection of real ales at £5.50 a pint. Fantastic salt beef sandwiches for a fiver (cash only). Friendly and efficient staff. Very popular - and small - so does get crowded. Best to get there early.

A must visit for anyone who wants to see our rich tradition of pubs in East London before it's too late. Don't just pose outside making TikTok videos, get yourself multiple pints of beer and make sure you have a good old chinwag with as many people as you can around the tables before getting hoofed out onto the cobbles at closing time. Piano night on a Monday is a great buzz. This place is the only pub I know in inner city London serving Crouch Vale and it's very nice. The ESB will also give you some old strong London flavours if you've never had it before. The staff are cool and I want to see this place stay the same for another 100 years.

I love this place, a proper olde pub with character, always heaving with people standing outside. Every overnight visit to london with work means a trip to Brick Lane for a few beers here and a good curry up the road. Good choice of beers and a cracking pint of Guinness, probably one of the cheapest in London.

Very British pub with a true local vibe. Packed after work with people enjoying their usual drinks. Service was classic. There’s a wide selection of drinks and plenty of indoor seating, while outside was full of people standing with their pints. Inside you get that traditional pub aroma of years of spilled drinks on the carpet, but in a way that feels authentic rather than off-putting.

A busy "hidden gem" off the tourist beaten path. On the sunny Thursday we visited, the outside patio (and street) was packed with patrons. The small and cozy inside seating was available. 4th stop on our pub crawl.

Cosy pub with great atmosphere, range of ales and service. Not a very big place so can get quite busy. Sometimes they have events with music and activities. Great little pub you won't be disappointed. Just down the road from work so I come all the time.

Great traditional London pub. Small place so it gets busy. Good atmosphere.

If you want to experience a small east end genuine London boozer, the like of which are rapidly disappearing then take your chance and have a pint here - you won't be disappointed. Everything feels very authentic - you can imagine the Kray twins and Barabara Windsor bursting in at any moment.

A classic old school East End boozer which are sadly on the decline. As you walk in it feels like a time warp but in a good way. The Pride Of Spitalfields is situated just off Brick Lane and has rejected the urge to modernise or reinvent itself as a gastropub. The pub has an eccentric mix of locals, hipsters, tourists and students and it works well and also is not as pricey as a few of the other pubs in the vicinity. If you're visiting London or just passing through the area then The Pride Of Spitalfields is definitely a pub to visit!

What a pub! This is exactly what I was looking for. As I walk in a tourist is playing the piano and has the entire pub spellbound. All eyes are on him and it’s literally silent while he plays. I pause for a moment, observe, he finishes, and the crowd erupts in applause. Nice selection of real ales. Super friendly patrons. They started a low-key DJ set later in the night. Made friends. Would absolutely come back again.
