Not happy with the time required to queue, as there was only 1 person serving at a very busy time of the day with multiple flights. Had I not been so hungry and craving coffee, I would have abandoned waiting. Other passengers were giving up and abandoning the queue, leading to lost revenue. To Costa Management: Start taking a longer term view beyond the rising costs of staff to ensure customers are happy and to maximise sales - you’ll likely find the reduced queue abandonment rate will lead to higher sales and profits that will more than pay for the additional costs of staff! That said, the lady who was serving was doing tremendously well and kept her composure, despite the constant rush she was facing!

My review is based on seeing so Costas, one as you walk into the airport & one through departures and upstairs or lift. Both had a fair amount of people queueing so clearly a popular choice, another time earlier in the day I could have been persuaded to a skinny flat white.

I read the reviews and thought “how bad could an iced latte be?”. Turns out… very bad. Fine service but a very sad caramel iced latte. Something must be wrong with the espresso machine.

The staff here is amazing — warm, attentive, and doing a fantastic job. But I was genuinely surprised that there isn’t a single vegan option on the menu, and coffee is only served in disposable cups. For a brand as large and influential as Costa, there’s a real responsibility to lead by example. In a time of escalating environmental crisis, continuing to rely on throwaway packaging and excluding plant-based options feels out of step. I truly hope Costa considers more sustainable choices moving forward.

Not very clean. Grubby tables, floor and windows. No ketchup to go with the toastie. Gritty, weak coffee. I wouldn't have eaten here had it not been for a free delay voucher.

Dirty seating on chairs and around tables considering not busy. Come on guys clean the place up if your bored. Requested couple of standard items and did not have.

We were served by Lauren, who was working on her own. Despite the clear lack of support for her she remained bright & positive, serving us as quickly as she could, whilst also dealing with other more challenging customers & keeping her cool throughout. Great coffee & great service - Good job Lauren!

Very bad experience from start to finish, I was very pleased to see a costa in the airport as we had just returned from holiday and were flying home and I had missed having my coffee. Unfortunately it was the worst experience ever. Not only could I not scan my phone to receive my rewards but there were no plates for our sandwiches and toast but there were no trays either. The gentleman behind the counter had a WH Smith uniform on so not sure what was going on. However that was not the worst thing, a customer had a dog that was walking around the cafe while its dog cage was perched on the table. When she left the table was not even wiped down which I find disgraceful. Thankfully I don't need to visit this branch again.

Couldn't wait to full my flask airside today. Had the pleasure to be served by a very miserable and unfriendly member of the (franchise) Costa team here. Ordered drink, she repeated it back to me. Corrected her and she said she said that. Still gave me not what I had asked for! Took my drink and spoke to a much friendlier female colleague (English) and she popped inside and corrected my drink. She even smiled. That was easy..Why the foreign Lady couldn't smile, be friendly, be helpful or care i don't know. Several reviews mention miserable staff. It must be a "thing" here. If you don't like your job and hate customers, just leave. There are plenty of other people who would love a job!!
