   Visited 16th September 24 to purchase an item.i was informed the item may not be instore until later in the week.i requested that I be called when the item had arrive.The very rude female shop assistant informed me that I should call them instead.i explained that I may have to call several times until the item arrived, when they could call once to let me know.She stated again that she wasn't sure she could call me.At that point I told her not to worry and that I would go elsewhere,and left. We try and support our local shops but with this sort of attitude we will lose them all.i will not return to this shop again

   Went in for 4 small nuts and bolts. The total cost was well under £2, can't remember the exact figure, but the staff were so helpful. Absolutely brilliant service, and will be shopping there again. Thank you.

   A very disappointing experience when I rented a Rug Doctor from Thompsons to find it would not start and was faulty. I had rented it for 48 hours and returned within the time frame but was told I could NOT have a refund!.. despite calling Rug Doctor to problem shoot and to be told I could have a FULL refund from the store supplier.. I was told by the manager of the shop I could not be refunded as I did not ‘let them know it was faulty straight away’. Despite returning it within the time scale of the rental the manager would not accept this as a justifiable reason for a refund! After explaining that returning it at which ever time within the rental period should not affect my refund he then gave in and refunded the amount to the debit card used…

   I was in need of compost yesterday and I was running late. Rang the shop and was told I could knock on the door if it wasn't too late 20 minutes after 5 (they shut at 5) and the lovely lady sorted me out my compost Didn't get your name but youve my weekend Thank you sooooooo much ❤️ Bobby
