βSuch kind and caring staff, especially Luke and Leslie who always take such good care and are so gentle with my pets. They are also so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. I always know my pets are in good hands at Bath Veterinary Centre. Bath Veterinary Centre provides an animal centred, good value and honest service. I really can't recommend them enough and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Thank you all for your hard work!β
βI canβt thank Dr. Kate and nurse Katie enough for the incredible care they gave my cat, Pop Chip. Also I want to thank the lovely Raven, a care assistant, who was working reception that day - she took the time to explain how it would all work, even though she was juggling lots of tasks! They performed a very thorough dental procedure on Pops, and Iβm in awe of the quality of their work β his stitches are so neat and tidy, especially considering how small and delicate the area is. Itβs a work of artistry and precision! Pop Chip is not the easiest patient - heβs extremely anxious and fearful of people after being rescued from an abusive home by the RSPCA last year. We only adopted him not long ago too. Despite this, Dr. Kate and nurse Katie handled him with such patience and kindness. They even managed to take blood from his tiny veins and wrangle him back into his carrier, which is no small feat! Heβs recovering well from his tooth extractions, and I felt completely supported thanks to the detailed post-op care instructions they provided. I honestly couldnβt have wished for better dental work or more compassionate care. Thank you so much for looking after my little guy so well!β
βWow. I took my very sick cat here. I got the most exceptional help from the vet Lucie. She was so kind and helpful, and sympathetic to the difficult situation I faced with a sick pet. I cannot imagine someone more helpful! That is not to say that the cat is better (it's not) but at least I feel that I have had very good advice. I would strongly recommend Lucie to anyone facing this kind of challenge.β
βIncredible practice!!! What a brilliant service. We have had 'our boys' Freddie and Harry looked after so very well here. Thank you for all your kindness, care and professionalism.β
βVery kind and helpful staff, low cost treatment approve next day and seen quickly. Many thanks to allβ
βAs a family we could not recommended this practice more highly. We had a medical emergency with our dog and they were so reassuring, making an appt within a very short time. In my 50 years visiting vets I have not experienced such an unhurried focused appointment. We learned so much about the health and body of our little dog and felt totally confident and reassured by her diagnosis and treatment. The welcome was so warm and our little was happy in the reception and the vet so detailed and gentle with her examination. Sheβs on the road to recovery now a big thank you to the whole team. Absolutely wonderful Thank you all.β
βWe've just left Rosemary Lodge having had to take my dad's elderly dog in following her having had several seizures over the last 12 hours or so. From answering the phone to the end of our consultation, Kate - our vet, was superb. Thorough, sensitive, informative, empathetic towards us and absolutely no pressure or judgements on our decisions. From our perspective, whilst difficult as Tilly was euthanasised, our experience was positively handled. Thank you Kate.β
βFollowing an escalating series of unpredictable & unprovoked human & canine biting incidents, the last of which was really serious for the other dog, we took the gut wrenching decision to euthanise our lovely 2 year old rescue terrier Harry. We already loved Harry dearly & - I think - he us. He was, 95% of the time, an absolute bright delight, but his rage was coming out of the blue each time & his ferocity had escalated to a point that he was clearly trying to kill. We will never know what awful things he had been through to trigger this periodic aggression, but when the red mist descended, he was a danger to himself, us & any child or dog he met. Robin the vet was amazing, carefully taking us through all our (limited) options on the phone at home after the latest incident. Once our decision was made, he advised on meds at home so we could bring Harry (who could not normally travel in a car or be put on a lead without becoming hysterical) in without any further distress. We were both in bits when we arrived & the receptionists were incredibly kind. Robin showed such compassion & respect for Harry & for us & Harry was never distressed at any point during the final process. If anyone finds themselves needing advice & support in a similar situation I could not recommend this practice, & Robin in particular, more highly. RIP little Harry, our "Ginger Ninja"β
βI have been using the vets for a while now and they are very good. Helpful and always willing to lend a hand. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a vets practice. Professional and friendly service!β

βAmy the vet was lovely with our puppy (and us). He was quite relaxed with her. Amyβs examination of him was thorough and reassuring. Her advice was very clear. She didnβt push expensive out of hours testing and our puppy seems to have made a good recovery. Thank you Amyβ

βWe stayed here for one night as we were travelling down south for a wedding. Communication with Pauline was fabulous and the room was absolutely lovely with everything we needed and there was also a kitchen area and a lounge area where you could get tea and coffee. Bed was very comfy and room was very cool which was needed as it was very hot outside. Pauline was very welcoming and helpful and the perfect pit stop for us. We would definitely recommend.β
βA very friendly practice. The staff are always happy to help, they have gotten to know our dog even stopping to say hi when they pass us in the store. Very nice and professional vets practice. Our dog has a number of allergies and the staff here always make a point of asking how she is doing even if she isn't there with us!β
βExcellent. Very warm and welcoming staff, kept my little pup calm and happy through the whole visit. The supply of treats meant he didn't even notice his vaccinations. Great value for money puppy package. Happy customer, very happy Pup!β
βWell equipped and comfortable cottages set in beautiful countryside. Local amenities in the nearby village include a pub and a good fish and chip shop.β
βMy family and I stayed here the night before my wedding. Debbie and Nigel were the loveliest hosts and added so many special touches to my room and in the morning Debbie was totally happy with all my bridesmaids and makeup team decending on the dining room! The rooms and are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious! I really reccomend staying here. I know I'll come back with my new husband!β
βGreat vets we were recommended to them and not disappointed they really care about animals.β
βCan't recommend the Widcombe branch enough. Had a poorly cat who had been retching badly for over 24 hours. The care and attention is fantastic. From the kind manner of the receptionist to the honest straightforward advice from Clara the vet.β
βWeβve just moved out of the area so had to leave Batheaston vets :( Theyβve been looking after our two cats for two years, and theyβre the best vets Iβve ever had by a mile. Every member of staff weβve ever met has been utterly charming, helpful, above and beyond. Weβre moving a long way and they were unbelievably helpful every step of the way. Thank you everyone at Batheaston vets!! Absolutely brilliantβ
