Compassionate care. We had dental opp done here for my cat. Vets took careful approach and their communication was clear and compassionate. All the people there who worked with my cat were wonderful
Such professional service right from registration through to consultation and after care The receptionist was amazing - kind and knowledgeable a delight actually - Lola loved her thank you ! The nurse was thorough and did not keep us waiting to long - again reassuring and explaining what she would be telling the vet Amy the vet was so professional explained every thing she was checking for reassuring us and Lola. She listened carefully to Lola systems and responded 100% accordingly and explained what to look out for if Lola became worse. - I think the best consultation we have experienced Finally Lola was awarded an Outstanding Bravery certificate - fabulous teamwork here Thank you
Amy the vet was lovely with our puppy (and us). He was quite relaxed with her. Amy’s examination of him was thorough and reassuring. Her advice was very clear. She didn’t push expensive out of hours testing and our puppy seems to have made a good recovery. Thank you Amy
The vets were wonderful with my dog Barney when he got rushed in after hours. A very special mention to Ruby on reception who was an absolute star, and the vet who saw him (I did not catch her name) was simply wonderful with him. Thank you very much to all the team!
£300 just to start off with to see an out of hours vet. Bath Vet Group have handed over their OoO to this company (they used to charge £175), so I shall probably be leaving them. Also charged a £25 admin fee for insurance claim and so far have had to fill in two forms myself! Will hopefully never have to use them again. What a rip off company and no doubt many pets will suffer because they can't afford such bills!!
I brought my dog in after she had been vomiting. They put her on a drip and kept her in for two nights saying that she was unlikely to have an obstruction as the anti vomiting medication would not be working if she did. When I took her to my vet after the two nights, they x-rayed her and found a blockage which they then had to remove immediately with life saving surgery. Luckily it looks like she is on the road to recovery, but why didn’t they do this on the first night?? It would have saved so much stress for her and prolonged discomfort, not to mention the £5k vets bill!
Positives: Lizzie the vet, and the support from the staff was fabulous. Communications upon booking good. Although a difficult and busy Boxing Day morning it was clear there is an ethic of care at Vets Now in Chippenham, with service that focused on the needs of the pet and the owner. Negatives: The wait for our pet and therefore for us was too long. The vet present worked tirelessly but the absence of one of two vets through illness undermined the whole experience, and communication once sat waiting was not great. This meant that the overall service was poor value for money, because part of paying such a premium price is service at an acceptable pace.
All the staff at Vets Now were very thorough professional kind and caring. They looked after my beautiful dog and took time with me when I wasn't able to bring her home. I thank you
It was incredibly difficult visit and we would very much appreciate seeing Rocky's notes because we are so worried we didn't do the right thing by him. I know this is grief talking as the vet and nurse were amazing but it all happened so quickly.
