“Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”

“Lovely little pub in a sleepy village on the outskirts of Bath. My partner and I stayed for one night and it felt really homely and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The bed was so comfy too! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.”

“Amazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to park”

“A last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.”

“A very friendly practice. The staff are always happy to help, they have gotten to know our dog even stopping to say hi when they pass us in the store. Very nice and professional vets practice. Our dog has a number of allergies and the staff here always make a point of asking how she is doing even if she isn't there with us!”

“Lovely location in bathe, out the way enough so traffic isn't a hassle and can park easy and free, but close enough that frequent buses get you onto town in ten minutes. Also a close little cafe that does lovely breakfast. Rooms are lovely and a nice change from generic hotel rooms and the lady that met us on arrival was lovely.”

“First class, we received excellent service, from the bar to the restaurant. We were well looked after, the wine was excellent and the food delicious, can recommend the sea bass as well as the lamb. The food was cooked to order and arrived hot. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will dine here again.”

“My fave place for a morning hot chocolate and pastry. The food here is always outstanding. Their ham and cheese croissant is incredible. Had steak and frites a while back and still thinking about it! Highly recommend!”

“We were so surprised to have found this amazing gem of a place to stay. It is more like a boutique bed and breakfast (minus having to get up for the breakfast because they just give you a basket of food that is well stocked and replenished each day so you can eat whenever you feel like it - loved that!). There were a lot of nice details put into refurbishing the rooms so that there was no mold smell at all, despite being over 300 years old! The furnishing and decor were wonderful with an incredibly comfortable bed. I can't say enough about the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, Marie was awesome! They do little things like welcoming you in advance of your stay to make you feel invited and thought of, and there are real people to respond to you when you write back. They respond immediately with a lot of help with any questions you ever have. AND it is in a great part of Bath, really easy walking distance to everything! When I 'googled' the street, it looked a little funky and maybe not very nice, but it was not that way at all, it's a great street! This has been the best place we've stayed thus far in England with a great price for what you get. I can't recommend it enough!”

“This shop is brilliant, and super well kept, I was impressed with the range of items available and the presence of some more niche ingredients you may otherwise be hard pushed to find. Prices are fair and on the mark with (at a glance) many being cheaper than supermarkets. On a personal level I liked seeing full shelves, products faced up properly and generally a clean and tidy environment. Even the dude on the counter bothering to say hello was a nice touch. Myself and fellow chef will certainly be back. Keep up the great work, hopefully you will indeed be friends forever :)”

“daycare is wrens favourite place, the highlight of her week, and we couldn’t thank marsha and the team enough for all of the patience and hard work put into wren (we know she’s very good at testing patience) doggy doos are always so helpful and accommodating. and are out rain and shine, which is loved by wren the mud monster, you can tell how much the staff care for all of the dogs, i couldn’t recommend doggy doos enough!”
