βA wonderful place - I can't imagine being in Bath again and not staying here. It's clean, beautiful, and the service is top-notch, unmatched anywhere else. I had a lot of heavy luggage with me, and the staff helped me to deal with it. Plus, there's a beautiful common area that helps you meet some fantastic people!β
βWould have given 5 stars all round but 2 days in a row we didn't get clean towels despite leaving the hanger on the door. The reception did give them to us on request though.β
βWe stayed for 5 nights. Room was spacious for 3 of us. Breakfast really good. Stuff very friendly. Parking it available outside of the hotel however when we stayed it was very busy so I don't think there was enough parking spaces for all the guests. It's a walking distance to the city centre and petrol station and supermarket are nearby.β
βFor the price that Iβve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5Β£ and luggage storage 2Β£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.β
βVisited bath to relax and chill from the hustle bustle of London. Was very lucky to get to visit this hostel in bath it was very clean tidy beds were comfy. Real smart mod con facilities usb points in beds plugs even a reading light What more could you ask for. I felt like a flash packer not a backpacker βΊοΈ I Was checked in by Louise she told me all about the facilities and very professional was even given a free drink for booking on there site. She made me feel welcome great service and hospitality. Josh was great to good customer service made me feel welcome. Zach was great to very professional and helped me with all the questions I had during my stay. If your in bath definitely look these guys upβ
βSometimes you feel compelled to write a review. We had a last minute stay in Bath and were looking for an affordable, decent hotel close to bath but not in the centre. We found it with the Wentworth House Hotel. From the free parking, late-ish (arrived in darkness) welcome after a long drive and some good directions to our forward destination we knew we'd chosen well. Yes, there are some low star reviews for this establishment but I wonder if they picked the wrong hotel. If you're looking for swish, silver service with mints on your pillow and uniformed staff - keep looking. If you're looking for a clean, good, honest 'head down tummy full' stay, they this is perfect. Which brings me on to the breakfast - splendid stuff. Freshly cooked (they asked what time we'd be sitting down for it so it could be timed perfectly), it was hot, tasty and plentiful. And oh my, that sausage... So in list form and to conclude - free parking, lovely building, well kept facilities, a bar, good size room (with toiletries), a fabulous view, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and just 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. (Take the bus back - a tip from another review and well worth doing - it's a long hill after a big meal). Thank you WHH - we'll be back.β
βPerfect location after a day of touring Bath and the Roman Baths. Prices affordable and family rooms available. Close to some great restaurants and pubs for a meal or cocktail. Paid Parking is only about a 10 minute walk and offers 24 hours parking at very affordable rates. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that we were staying for one night - our fault not theirs. we know for future - stay longer. Loved itβ

βPawsitively Happy Dogs is such an amazing service. We have a bouncy, high energy Vizsla - and they manage her so well. She loves all of the team, and she waits for them by the window. They send regular updates of pick-up times, and photos/videos of each walk. The invoice app makes booking walks easy, and the payment system is also simple to use. We've also used them for weekend dog sitting more than once - they're trustworthy and reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!β
βThe hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transportβ¦ there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldnβt have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the pricesβ¦ we didnβtβ¦ if weβd booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).β
βThis campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!β

βVisiting for my Husbands birthday for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was so lovely, spacious, smelt gorgeous and over our expectations. The owner was so helpful who we met. We knew the breakfast wasnβt being served before we booked due to renovation, but they had left fruit, treats etc which I thought was lovely. The place is at the top of a huge hill, but we drove down into town and paid to park there. If you donβt mind doing this then itβs not a problem. Would definitely stay there again!β
βWe had a truly exceptional dining exeperience. It was our anniversary dinner, my husband requested we have a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival which was very kindly prepared for us. The occassion was acknowledged throughout our meal, with a βhappy anniversaryβ message on our dessert plates. Such a lovely touch. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowleadgeble, we felt very well looked after. We started with the selection of breads with soft basil butter. It was a great variety of fresh bread and breadsticks. We both had the scallops for our starters, a nice mix of well balanced flavours and excellent nduja! The mains (duck, venison) were perfectly cooked medium rare with lovely sauces and flavours. The only item we would skip next were the confit potatoes, which unfortunately were undercooked and did not have much of a taste to them. Our desserts were a tiramisu and the pistachio eggnog mousse, both perfectly light and not too sweet but well balanced. We finished our meal with limoncello (as you do). Everything was top quality and full of flavour. The wine selection was interesting, great variety especially on the bottled special wine list, with very reasonable prices. We went with their recommendations for each meal and the pairings they suggested were great. The restaurant is on the smaller side and the table we were seated was on the smaller end, however this did not take away from the enjoyment. We could tell how serious they take their food, service and customers. The restaurant is expensive but you get what you pay for. We canβt wait to be back.β
βMy cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!β
βGreat service here. Very old school place customer service is the key.β

βThe porchetta sandwhich is to die for, they have different options for fillings etc but even just with the meat itβs so flavourful. They have a variety of italian desserts and lovely coffee too. Michelle and Mimmo are truly fantastic, they make you feel welcome and look after you.β
βFriendly place with attentive staff. Good local real ale and cider at competitive prices. We hadn't been to Chepstow for some time but the building has been transformed in recent years and is a credit to the town.. Interior is clean, light and airy. All in all a great place to stay or just stop for a drink.β
βA unique and really special place to stay. Richard the charming owner is very welcoming and has so many great stories to tell about the history of the house. We had a wonderful night's sleep in a huge and comfortable bed followed by a delicious breakfast. I hope we can come back one day.β
βI enjoyed the night I stayed there very much. The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. The house is very quiet and have a lovely lounge and dining room. The location is close to Bath and some very nice villages in Wiltshire and those areas.β
βMy partner and I have been here many times and we absolutely love it! The views from the outdoor seating and beer garden are lovely anytime of day, especially in the summer, making it the perfect place to relax with a few drinks. The inside seating area has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for the winter, with friendly and professional staff. The food here never disappoints, with a wide range of choices, all of which are delicious! A special thanks to the Chef, Matt behind the bar and Kim who served us for the 5 star service. Thank you again to the team at The George Inn, we will be back again as always!β
βGreat little shop, hidden away but plenty of parking and has small cafΓ© run by volunteers. Showcases local produce, and lots of eco bio products. A little more expensive but as a little treat worth itβ
βWe had a fantastic weekend stay at Windylands B&B this summer! Everything was perfect-the environment was so peaceful and comfortable, and our room was incredibly clean, making us feel right at home. A huge thank you to the host, Richard, for preparing everything for us and for his wonderfully warm welcome and care. He made us feel like we'd known him forever! The delicious breakfast each morning was also a highlight (truly the best hotel breakfast l've ever had), ensuring we felt completely pampered and at ease.β
βWe really enjoyed our stay in Bath because owner Peter sat down with us and went over everything we wanted to do. We saw the Roman Baths in Bath and drove to the Cottswalds. A pretty country drive. Breakfast is personally cooked by Peter and his assistant. Several reasonable hot and cold choices and Peter's charm got us off to a good start. Several dinner choices were within a 5 minute walk. I think I learned of Marlborough House because of Rick Steve's travel guide recommendation. Charm, quiet, good sleep, good food, charm of Peter gave us a nice 4 days!β
βThe staff and facilities are all aligned to exceed expectations and it delivers. The listing states its a Bed & Breakfast. However, it performs like a 5 star hotel without the price tag. Book with confidence, this place is seriously good. The only thing I did not like, was having to leave.β
βIncredible place. Not only did the lovely ladies manage to squeeze me in ridiculously last minute - when I turned up to take my dog away he didnβt want to leave! Was very happy just having a hug with one of the groomers. Beautiful little shop as well, so perfect for me to grab a treat on the way out. Super service from the initial phone call right the way through to having a very happy dog return to me. Already booked the next appointment and highly recommend you do as well. Thank youβ
βA really pleasant and well run guest house/B&B. It is a 15 minute walk into Bath centre but sits close to wonderful parks and country. There are also bar, restaurant and convenient shopping facilities nearby. The room was spacious with a really nice bathroom, luxurious linen and towels. Very, very clean. really made to feel welcome without being intruded upon. Excellent place to stay!β
βLovely set of cottages everything you need in the week and a SPA convenience store 3 minutes awayβ
