One of the nicest meals Iβve ever had. The setting was gorgeous - rustic, lovely lighting, dried flowers everywhere. The owner was very welcoming and recommended us a mocktail. And then the foodβ¦. Wow. Sublime. The flavours were incredible. Scallops to start, duck as a main- all absolutely wonderful.

We had a truly exceptional dining exeperience. It was our anniversary dinner, my husband requested we have a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival which was very kindly prepared for us. The occassion was acknowledged throughout our meal, with a βhappy anniversaryβ message on our dessert plates. Such a lovely touch. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowleadgeble, we felt very well looked after. We started with the selection of breads with soft basil butter. It was a great variety of fresh bread and breadsticks. We both had the scallops for our starters, a nice mix of well balanced flavours and excellent nduja! The mains (duck, venison) were perfectly cooked medium rare with lovely sauces and flavours. The only item we would skip next were the confit potatoes, which unfortunately were undercooked and did not have much of a taste to them. Our desserts were a tiramisu and the pistachio eggnog mousse, both perfectly light and not too sweet but well balanced. We finished our meal with limoncello (as you do). Everything was top quality and full of flavour. The wine selection was interesting, great variety especially on the bottled special wine list, with very reasonable prices. We went with their recommendations for each meal and the pairings they suggested were great. The restaurant is on the smaller side and the table we were seated was on the smaller end, however this did not take away from the enjoyment. We could tell how serious they take their food, service and customers. The restaurant is expensive but you get what you pay for. We canβt wait to be back.

Amazing vegan menu, food was really tasty, they were very helpful and professional with allergens - really knew what was in each dish and were accommodating with changes, which was much appreciated! Definitely recommend for any vegans visiting bath. We particularly recommend the risotto and the pear salad. Thank you!

Our friends treated us to a lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly service, very delicious food with heavenly combinations and beautiful wines! Every dish was delicious but the catch of the day (hake), chestnut soup and cinghiale were all exceptional! And it would be unfair not to mention the very rich iced Americano.

Service and waiting staff are really lovely. The restaurant itself is very nice, modern but still has an old chic feel to it. The food was a little disappointing. It sounds lovely on the actual menu, but the flavours and cook was subpar. We had the bread to start which was ok, but had a very hard basil butter. It was difficult to spread. We had the pumpkin risotto. Again the flavours of the ingredients were ok, just very very bland. The risotto was also slightly overcooked. We also ordered the βlinguineβ crab pasta. Firstly it was not served linguine but spaghetti. Secondly, it was a hot pasta served with cold crab on top which was a little strange. It would have been a lot nicer if it was just folded into the pasta. But again it was just very bland. Lastly we had duck and catch of the day which was John Dory. The fish was nicely cooked, but all the elements around it were just a little boring - it did not bring the dish to life. There was a pomegranate sauce on the side which just tasted mildly sweet - there was nothing else to it. The duck was slightly overcooked, did not have a tinge of pink throughout. Again, just not seasoned enough. The crust was somewhat seasoned, but once the duck was cut, eating the pieces were bland as the seasoning was not distributed throughout the meat evenly. We paid Β£140 which was quite shocking for the service and quality we received. I donβt think weβll be returning.

A lovely Italian-ish restaurant in the city center, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The highlight - beyond the food - was definitely the service: our server was so kind and the owners came to check in on us multiple times. The team was also very happy to make accommodations with the menu as we had some special requirements, and did do with a smile. Food wise, while the menu isnβt groundbreaking or innovative, it offers high-quality, well-priced classics; of special mention is the crab pasta and the melt-in-your-mouth lamb. The wine selection is quite nice as well. All in all, we had a lovely evening with hearty food and a great atmosphere; the space is somewhat small so I do recommend booking in advance.

Went here to celebrate my birthday with my partner and the food, service and atmosphere were all perfect! The waiting staff were the perfect combination of friendly and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The food was sublime we had the gnocchi for a starter and it tasted amazing. Both the chicken and lamb dishes were cooked to perfection with all the trimmings balancing the dish perfectly. We polished off the meal with a Tiramasu which was unbelievable. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Bath or any locals who have not

Great tasting and well presented food. A really nice selection of dishes with interesting combinations. I'd recommend getting the starter size portions of the pasta so you can try more of them!

I came to Bath for a day trip, and I googled and chose this place based on its good reviews. Iβm so glad I did this. If I can, I would give 6 star for both the food and service. The soup of the day was really good, even the bread was toasted perfectly! It was creamy in a good way. Iβve never had something similar before. The fish was really fresh, tender and soft. The most surprising part was the tiramisu. Definitely need to try it! It was not too sweet, but it was a good mixture of cream, cocoa & wine. The staff there were very friendly, welcoming and helpful!
