“I have been using the vets for a while now and they are very good. Helpful and always willing to lend a hand. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a vets practice. Professional and friendly service!”
“The vet was excellent and explained next steps and likely outcome of diagnosis. Reception, the nurses are Fantastic always very kind. Bath Vets employ kind compassionate people,I would never use any other Vets, highly recommended. Thank you all”
“Beautiful pet groomers and a gorgeous shop, with so much to offer! Love this place, and Sarah does such great work! My favourite 'pet pampering place' in Bath.”
“Couldn’t say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bath’s recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.”
“Chloe led the Pets Workshop! It was brilliant. We learnt so much about all the animals. The kids absolutely loved it! Xxx”
“Nice Garden Centre with all the expected plants and products. In addition, there is an aquatic and pet section and areas for novelty and decorative items. There was a nice selection of wines and food products. We were going to pop into the cafe but it was very busy.”
“The rooms are clean, modern and have everything you need! Staff are friendly, polite and helpful- even when busy! Tasty breakfast included in the price! Absolutely brilliant! What more could you ask for- would definitely stay again!”
“A beautiful and well looked after guesthouse. We enjoyed every part of our stay from the greeting at check-in, to the beautifully cosy room, a very quiet nights sleep and a delicious breakfast this morning. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.”
“Have attended twice now purchasing fish for our tank. Both colleagues were super helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks to Curtis who we saw today. Appreciated your help.”
“I recently stayed at The Z Hotel in Bath over the weekend and had such a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The hotel itself was spotless, stylish, and had such a comfortable atmosphere. My room was modern, cozy, and well equipped — everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was also ideal, close to the city’s main attractions, which made exploring Bath super convenient. What really stood out to me was the level of customer service. Every staff member I met was friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly valued as a guest. It’s rare to find such consistent hospitality! I would absolutely recommend The Z Hotel in Bath to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!”
“Lovely apartment , perfect position for the Christmas Market, the only thing was we didn't realise it was three twisty sets of stairs and we had my 90 year old mum with us, but it didn't spoil it for us”
“A great variety of products with very friendly staff. Even stocked a specific product after recommendation.”
“I was travelling with my toddler and parents. The staff obliged me with an early check-in for one of the rooms, which was very considerate. The location is great and property itself is very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice stay at Bath. We also thank Fauzia for going out of her way to help us. Thank you again for a lovely stay!”
“Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bath. Perfect central location, within 20 mins walk of all the main attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a Premier Plus room, an extra treat, and well worth it. The room was lovely and the hotel quite peaceful.”
“Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.”
“They have been looking after my dog for many years, she was wagging her tail when she realised where she was.”
“We stayed overnight and loved it. The room was really comfortable and had a nice view over the river. The pub serves really good food and the staff are really friendly. It is also dog friendly which was great as we had our pup with us. Will definitely stay here again!”
“We had a lovely 4 night stay here and we felt at home right from the start. Nice spacious room clean and well maintained. The bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. We had a lovely view of pultney river. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. Matteo at breakfast is a great asset to the hotel. He is so welcoming and nothing is too much for him.”
“We recently had the pleasure of staying at The bath Spa Hotel, which as always didn’t disappoint. As always it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how luxurious and welcoming everything is. The suite was absolutely stunnin, spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated with every detail thoughtfully considered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the room were just breathtaking. We truly felt like we were in a five-star sanctuary. We took a dip in the outdoor pool which was incredible. The food was another highlight of my stay. Every meal was a delight! Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the quality of the dishes was exceptional. What really made this hotel stand out, though, was the staff. Every single team member was so friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly set the tone for the entire experience. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and top-notch experience. We will be back!”
“Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.”
“Stayed in Bath as went to watch a show at the forum . Staff were really friendly, we were surprised as our room was ready at 1pm. Nice clean and airy room, bed was comfy, had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a self service buffet. It was hot and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.”

“Amy the vet was lovely with our puppy (and us). He was quite relaxed with her. Amy’s examination of him was thorough and reassuring. Her advice was very clear. She didn’t push expensive out of hours testing and our puppy seems to have made a good recovery. Thank you Amy”
“We had a friendly welcome, we upgraded when we got there as we wanted a bigger room as was staying there a few days. We was away for my husbands birthday( the room we changed from was immaculate, just upgraded to a suite) .. This is a beautiful building, the decor is slightly dated, it was very clean, the suite was huge, beautiful view, the breakfast was faultless, they ask you the day before what you would like, this worked out really well, as well as what was on the cooked menu there was a bowl of freshly prepared fruit to help yourselves, plenty of juices, cereals etc. I would recommend people staying as location is perfect, the staff are excellent and is very clean. Bus stop near the hotel if you wanted to bus into bath. I will definitely be returning there.”
