not too far away from city but you do need to do a little bit step in order to get up to here, we stay in 3-5 people private room, is little bit smelly in the bathroom, and the door handle is broken. Other than that, everything else is fine.Especially wake up to see this stunning view of Bath, the worthy part.

We had a really fabulous stay here. Fantastic building, location, facilities and the staff were brilliant and really helpful. The self-catering kitchen was really large and had pretty much everything you could need with a lovely large eating area that can host multiple guests (The only thing it would benefit from are hobs as lack of these really limits cooking options). They kindly put our luggage in the luggage room once we'd checked out so could still explore Bath itself on our last day. The grounds and building itself are just lovely. We had a wonderful 2 x night family stay (9 and 11 year old in tow).

The view is absolutely beautiful. The accommodations are clean. Only concern is there is no direct parking spaces for residents. Only about 3 parking spaces for unloading/disabled. Entrance is also steep. Parking is on main road.

Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.

Bath Hostel is at very convenient location. You can park your car on Bathwick Hill just beside the route to the hostel. There is also a bus stop right beside the hostel. It is slightly uphill, so be ready for it! The main building where I was staying is very nice with a character. I have enjoyed the stay, beds are comfortable, had an en-suite which was also good. The only downhill was that there was a constant noise for the whole night, something like machine or generator. Which was not very comfortable to sleep with. Staff was very friendly. Price is fair, and so I recommend this type of accommodation to everyone.

Lovely place close to the uni. Bunk beds slightly squeaky but quite fun! Good breakfast. Polite and helpful staff.

This is an amazing hostel! The staff went above and beyond and made us feel really welcome! We had muddy shoes and they let us clean them in the laundry! The location is extremely well served by u1 bus is right down the driveway, only takes 5 minutes to central coach station and comes every 15 - 20 minutes. We also ended up walking to town as it wasn’t very far and the view was amazing! If self catering - there is no kitchen hot plate available due to heritage status of building. You have access to microwave and small ovens though. So plan your meals accordingly. - showers are a great size. Your clothes stay dry when hanging them on the hooks unlike all the other hostels we’ve stayed in. - wifi is super fast as well. - rooms in the hostel are very spacious and super clean. - common areas also great and well cared for Once again thank you YHA bath. You made the stay and time in UK worth it :)!

Wow! What a gem! Perfectly located on the University bus route just outside of town; so regular buses in and out. Room was very clean and spacious. Bunk beds very comfortable and cosy. Black out blinds too. Shower rooms and toilets very clean. Breakfast was lovely, would definitly come back again! Excellent value for money x

The hostel is located on the middle of the hill heading to the university of Bath. There is a bus station in front of the hostel, taking 10 minutes to the city centre, super convenient! It is a quiet and lovely place. I booked a twin room with shared bathrooms and what I got was really surprising to me.Β  I was on the 2ndΒ floor with a large room containing 3 bunk beds. There was only me in such a great room! The Room was very comfortable and clean. Even the bathroom was still being cleaned. Unfortunately, I had to carry my heavy luggage upstairs since there is no elevator there. That's not a problem for me. I would definitely recommend this place and go back next time I am visiting Bath.
