Visited last week and the hotel was lovely. The staff are friendly and they even sorted out an early check in for me. The room looked over the river Avon which was lovely. The location is perfect as town is within walking distance. This was a birthday present and it was lovely to have some chocolate in the room wrapped in a happy birthday. Service over and above and will visit again very soon

We had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Bath. Our king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the river view from our room was beautiful. Kay was very welcoming during check-in, and the cookies were a delicious touch! Tom at the bar/reception was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Liv was very sweet when we checked out, ending our stay on a lovely note. Breakfast was nice as well. We would happily stay here again!

Room are decent, I travlled to bath for 2 nights with my dad and grandpa. The receptionist Vin (that's his name? I'm not sure) was really friendly and helpful. The services in this hotel is top tier, too! From breakfast to house keeping to bartender. 10/10. But there is one big issue makes me give you 3 stars rating. During our two night stay. There is decorating going on in the hotel during the day, start from morning to afternoon, drill sound on top of your head to next doors. Hammer sound around you, makes it impossible to relax or work in your room during day time. So you have to move down to the lobby or visit the bar for those activities. I wish they at least inform us in advance. But nope. I recommand this hotel, great location great service and nice facility.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here and we felt at home right from the start. Nice spacious room clean and well maintained. The bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. We had a lovely view of pultney river. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. Matteo at breakfast is a great asset to the hotel. He is so welcoming and nothing is too much for him.

We had an overnight stay as a family, and had a family room (huge king bed, plus a single sofabed) and breakfast. Firstly, the room was a decent size. We didn't have loads of luggage but we did some shopping and still had space. It was super cold when we arrived - air conditioning working too well! - and housekeeping sorted some extra blankets very quickly, which was great. Didn't try the shower - we went to the local baths instead - but everything seemed good. The beds were lovely and comfortable, even the sofa bed! Reception was helpful and friendly. Matteo at breakfast was a great personality - a warm welcome, brisk and entertaining guide to breakfast, and makes the place feel extra special! Parking isn't reserved, there's a public car park literally under the hotel but it was full when we arrived (rugby match on nearby) so we parked on the street for a couple of hours (use the MiPermit app to pay), then moved to the car park. Location is fantastic. Minutes walk to the town centre, supermarket on your doorstep, ten minutes to the famous Roman baths. A great stay and decent value for Bath.

Stopped here whilst visiting friends for a short break in bath. After reading the reviews we were unsure as to how this would turn out. Rest assured the hotel is fabulous. Staff are friendly rooms are clean great showers too and a breakfast that would be fit for a king! We ask Warwick (bar manager) to recommend an Indian restaurant and he told us about mantra just 300 yds away food was stunning probably one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had. His knowledge of bath is superb as he had answers for all our questions. Location is fabulous too right in the heart of bath. You put your car in the podium car park and just enjoy your break. The staff here cannot do enough for you. We are already planning our return visit. Thanks guys.

The refurbished lobby and bar area are nicely done but when we were there (over winter holidays) they were very short staffed, one elevator wasn’t working, and rooms only got cleaned once in 3 days. Rooms were comfortable but very small (standard double). Great location though - and they have good beer on tap and do a great almond latte!

My room was spacious, clean and airy. The AC was great. In all I had a comfortable stay and slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't use any of the hotel facilities on my stay but I give 5 stars for a good room and great location.

Lovely modern hotel with great bar and breakfast area, within walking distance of the town centre. Overall good service apart from a bit of a wait for check-in. Cleanliness was spectacular especially in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

With the price, this is value for money. The room was a bit small but right size for short stay. The most remembered thing is the breakfast and it’s tasty! Polite service! Tidy and clean
