Absolutely terrible experience. The acrylic was thick, clumpy, and uneven — it looked awful, and I’ll be posting pictures to show just how bad it was. When I pointed it out, the nail technician argued with me, claiming it was just “my skin” and completely refused to fix it. That alone was enough to put me off. My thumb nail is chipped less than 24hrs… The polish was sloppily applied, even painted over my fingers, and not spread evenly at all. The whole application looked rushed and careless. To make it worse, the staff seemed annoyed whenever I asked basic questions — like I was bothering them just for wanting decent service. Asking about pricing was especially uncomfortable, and they even tried to overcharge me. There was zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero customer care.
Great first time experience! As I walked in, a female staff member quickly opened the door and greeted me enthusiastically. I can feel a clean, airy, and friendly space. After that, I chose the nail colour and design. Although I changed many times before making the final decision, the staff was still willing to help me. I had a great treatment and a good experience!
My mother-in-law took me to Elegant Nails to get my nails done for the wedding ceremony. At first, I didn't want to because I was afraid that this place would not do beautiful nails for such an important celebration. But to make my mother-in-law happy, I tried coming here. The staff advised me carefully about nail style, colour, and design to match the wedding dress. Best nails salon in Portishead, I will 100% sure to come back. Thank you so much❤❤❤❤
Absolutely fantastic! I did a manicure and pedicure for a reasonable price. This included shellac gel painting, special decorations such as stones and twinkles, a leg massage, and a neck/shoulder massage, and lasted approximately 1.5 hours. It was one of the best nail salons I'd ever visited! It's also very clean. Nail tools are stored in a sanitised bag, with a variety of colours to choose from! I would definitely return!
Best nails salon in Portishead. In the two years that I have been coming here, I have never felt unhappy. They are really good at nail design and pedicure specifically! My nails were done by Lee today, and he did a fantastic job while also being quick and attentive. Highly recommended.
All staff here are super friendly, Every time I come it’s always a pleasure! They strive for perfection and it always shows through their work! The pedicures are amazing! If you haven’t come here already you will not regret it! And it’s worth every single penny! The team will always strive to get you an appointment or fit you in, I am always super last minute, at the end of a busy working week the whole team are always super helpful and look after you very well, well recommended :)
